Hi All My 1999 A8 Sport has an intermittent electrical glitch. When I use my remote key to lock the car, the rear passenger window intermittently opens, sometimes fully, sometimes half way. I looked in the handbook to see the fuses with a view to removing the fuse for the rear electric windows, but I see the electric windows fuse fuse also covers the Central locking. Any quick tips BMs TIA

Hello Guys I am after an Audi A8 wiper motor for my 1998/9 2.8 Sport, the Bosch part number should be 058980515 but generic is OK. TIA Gus

My A8 sailed through it's MOT recently but the wiper motor has become very noisy, also the operation of the wipers has become haphazard, at times starting on their own and then not stopping when they should do. Can any BMs help, is there an Audi non main dealer in the Leicester area who could help? TIA

Thanks for the warm welcome to the forum Steve, I suspect my window and wiper problem is a switch problem but i can tolerate them for the time being. I will bear in mind your contact at Melton if I cannot resolve my probs, probably nip into Dckinson and Morris as well. :)

Hello audiownersclub from a newbie. I have a 1999 A8 2.8 Sport auto 57K only. I have owned the car for nearly 2 years now, but have a couple of probs which I hope the board may help me with. First the wipers sometimes come on when the ignition is switched on and do not stop as they should, also the rear nearside passenger window opens half way on its own accord sometimes. OK, I know its 3 :) but the car is booked in for an electronic check next week, quite often if I am turning left or right the revs go completely shutting down the engine, this can be dangerous if someone is on your tail, the strange thing is if I come to a dead stand , say at a crossroads the engine keeps running, I have now started to drop down the auto gears to the lowest to keep the engine going, once around the corner then back into D.
