Degsy1880
Hi guys new to the forum. Had many VAG cars in the past VW and SEAT but new to Audi Range. Just got new Audi A4 Ultra 2.0 TDI stronic box. wanted to stretch for the SLINE but wife was having none as I have bought enough Toys lately , Hey HO :-( so Im thinking of getting some light tints on it, do sline or S4 and the links come with a factory tint? would you go rear doors and rear screen or full tint and how dark. dont want it to look too chavvy though. also anyone had any dealing or know if these tuning boxes are any good as it needs to go back to stock when i send it back? https://tdi-tuning.com/car/audi/a4/20-tdi-ultra-161-bhp-163-ps-120-kw-400-nm-295-lbft/crtd4-twin-channel-diesel-tuning-box-chip i know dedicated mapping to the car is best and tuning boxes back in the day proved awful but surely designs and tech have gotten better? or am I wrong your thoughts guys cheers D. Sherlock1965
Hi Degsy best just look at web images of the car set up you want to replicate. I had an A7 tinted and had back windows, quarters and rear done 30% tint (lets 30% light in). I would leave front sides alone as any tint is illegal. Check out ADS Audi specialists in Preston as they did a remap for my A7 also and are the local Revo specialists - highly recommended
Steve Q
Hi Darren Sorry I seemed to have missed this post! If it were me I'd go for a light tint all round. And Id have to agree with Steve and say a remap would be far better. As the age old saying goes "you get what you pay for". With a proper remap this will not only improve bhp but will smoothen out the torque curve and can potentially increase mpg as the engine is less restricted. Hope IV helped :) Cheers Steve
