  2. I just checked the part on my car:) seems like is the genuine part, got the W/AG on it.
  3. Hi All 🙂 Just purchased a 2024 A3 black edition with the 19 inch wheels and getting a fair bit of road noise in the cabin on certain surfaces. Wondered if anybody has had practical experience installing sound deadening / insulation that reduces road noise? Perhaps inside the front wheel arches either on the metal body work or on top off the plastic wheel arch liner itself? (dunno which would make the most difference, if any.) FYI - I have covered the boot in silent coat 2mm and closed cell foam and think that's had a noticeable difference that side of the car. Front wheels seem to be the main culprit now affecting my rather OCD tendencies :-) Before going to the hassle of taking the wheels off and removing the wheel liner, I thought I'd check with folks here as I'm sure I can't be the only one who's thought about doing this! Thanks in advance. Rob.
  4. Any update on this issue ?
  5. And dare I say, the originals don’t look to be the best quality.

  7. Thanks guys. I’ve listed my RS4 on this site, as well as on RS246 (long time member) and Audi-Sport. Will see what interest I get. I am not in a rush to sell it, and it needs to go to an enthusiast as it is absolutely mint. WBAC don’t have good pricing for high performance cars as there is too much risk with them. Motorway I have a bad experience - they give you an indication which you can reject but if you decide to go to ‘auction’ you commit to sell. My VW Up! Got one bid at the reserve and it went - which in hindsight I should have put the reserve higher, but they suggested a low reserve to drum up bidding. My local VW garage bought it and were amazed at the price they paid - I felt the fool… if nothing comes from the forums in the next week or so I’ll put it up on AutoTrader, PistonHeads and maybe eBay. Thanks again. Sam
  8. This could be an issue with the instrument cluster. Might be worth getting an auto electrician to take a look
  9. Thankfully it’s hot out so my rough start isn’t terrible
  10. Hi 10amp is about as high as you need to go, from memory I have nearly always used the fusebox under the cover on the left end of the dash, check the owners handbook for what fuse does what as you dont want to use an ABS/wipers fuse or anything that if it blows will leave you in poo creek, depending what the spec is of your model there may well be a spare fuse port in the box, thats what I did with my A6, the spare port was in the purple square, test for ignition live with meter. Steve.
  11. Hi Does anyone know the part number for the Caliper logo plate or where to buy replacements?
  12. Sorry for late reply. My car has factory fit sunroof. sidesteps and tow bar. There are no towing restrictions,
  13. Hi I have a similar problem but not from the front. A juddering from underneath/rear the car when going from a standstill with full lock in and accelerating briskly. Mine only happens when warmed up. There is a TPi or TSB whatever it's called for Quattro Ultra.. So far they've done a software update and a clutch adaptation (twice) but it isn't fixed. It goes in next week for a clutch pack replacement on the rear transmission. My car is fortunately still under Manufacturer's warranty.

Hi i know this is not exactly what you want but my want to consider it .its a 3.0L v6 with 10700 mails manual need some work to the front wings common problem on these car the roof work fine but needs replacing it has audi upgrade alloys which are very rare with full service and drive like a dream only saying this as the car is been part exchanged next Saturday would be open to an off around the £1k
  22. That’s pretty niche. ABT’s website is clunky and basically a dealer portal. Your best bet is probably searching via UK dealer/importer, as the part you need will be bundled in a full kit and will have a unique ABT part number. Try https://www.specialistvehicles.co.uk/abt/ They have contact number and email and seem to feature Audi as main brand. They are based in Plymouth.

  24. That's a catch 22, I'd say a keeper but I sead that about the s5 hahaha, think once iv done all I need to her I will keep her and possibly ger a stag engine and box and rebuild that and put that in I'm not sure at the moment, also thinking of another audi but q7 4.2 but it's time to work on them as work nights so sat basically rest day and Sunday is catch up day
  25. Could it be an issue with a seizing brake caliper or issue with a driveshaft?
