The S-Line variants (in all models) tend to be a harder ride so allowing for sharper driving and cornering. Other variants including Sport are softer. The other main differences are in the looks, trim, wheels and seats, where the S-Line (in my opinion) look far better and upmarket. The seats are also much better and supportive. That said, all models come with driver modes where you can chose, Sport, Comfort etc settings so the differences in driving experiences may be minimal. I'd recommend checking option packs etc included in any used cars you view as these may prove more relevant to your needs. FYI - I bought a 2020 Q5 S-Line Competition last year and it's a brilliant smooth, quiet and comfortable drive with option to switch to Sport mode for more 'exciting' driving when needed. Hope this helps. M.

Hello, Managed to find aa used glove box with fridge for £80 including a CD multi changer. No wiring just take the old glove box out and find the cap from the Evaporator and remove the plug and fit the pipe. Then replace the glove box and connect the screw in pipe into the back of the glove box and hey presto I have a fridge and it works. You can regulate it as well. Just a slight problem in that my car is grey and the replacement glove box was black. However you cant see it when closed and I swapped the lid over so all good. Well worth it I think? Best regards, David👍

refurbed alloys don’t fit my cars bolt pattern…

Don't think wobble bolts would work as I think you have too much of a change (5x100 to 5x112), thought they're only good for about 2mm variance so a 5x98 to 5x100 for example. -

cheers the the replies, i’ve ended up buying some adapters so hopefully they’ll work. as much as i know the right move is probably to sell them on and restart, as i’ve been mostly told, i my heads telling me i cant just waste the effort i’ve put into them😂 with the adapters that i’ve bought, is there anything i should look out for that would mean they’re going to cause problems? obviously no matter what they’ll speed up the wear on the car but would it be by much? and would it be noticeable while driving - as in would it be quite uncomfortable? i’ve briefly seen stuff about wobble bolts but i couldn’t get my head around them. i might have a look into them though as i fear the adapters may cause some rubbing. thanks for the replies, i appreciate the help. -

Could always try wobble bolts, was a thing when people were fitting Merc wheels to vauxhalls, again 5x100 to 5x112. -

I fitted a ram air 4weeks prior, I’ve got a new maf sensor coming tomorrow, so I’ll take it from there. Ive found out the problem out , on the egr delete kit on the back of the main part there is a blanking screw, this had loosened its self, so resulting in massive air leak, fitted a new bolt and the cars spot on now mate

Many thanks for this clever suggestion but I understand from the garage owner that there is very limited space, hence the convoluted shape of the hose (photos attached). I am sick of the problem now and just want rid of the car, so I can maximize my road tax refund. In any event I have bought a used A3 2.0 TDI saloon in the meantime so I am no longer stuck and not polluting anything like the A4 was doing. -

One last option to consider is to fabricate a new hose from sections of stainless steel pipe, stainless steel elbows, straight rubber hose, and Jubilee clips. It won't be pretty and there may not be space to install it, but it might just keep the car on the road. -

Which of the new Audi A5 models feature MHEV ?
TheBuell replied to georgepamak's topic in Audi A5 Club
Bought myself one of these, 2.0 (150ps) a few months ago, and I think they're quite nice. It's not a real electric motor like on an hybrid, it's inside the starter motor/alternator and does indeed gives a nice boost. It's at its best during traffic jams. They've improved on that for 2025+ onwards. It becomes MHEV plus. -
Wise words. Too many scum staging crashes for fraudulent insurance claims.

I have just changed the coolant flange on my B7 1.8t BFB. Now when starting very high idle speed and then misfiring. When switched off sounds as if catalyst has overheated. Loud clicking sounds as it cools. Can't find any loose or missed connections. Anyone got any ideas?

Welcome Adrian, Sounds very nice. If we can help you at any time, we will. Enjoy. Regards, Gareth.
