reecebrookes33 Posted February 9, 2018 Share Posted February 9, 2018 This is probably already on here somewhere but my Audi A3 SE 09 plate will only unlock with the key & not remotely with the fob. The passenger side door occasionally has this problem also. Any ideas on what the problem is & anyone who could fix it in the midlands area if its a big job ?? Steve Q Posted February 10, 2018 Share Posted February 10, 2018 Hi Reece, First thing I'd try is changing the fob batteries. In failing that i would get a diagnostic check carried out. I wonder if the door lock mechanism is failing on the drivers door. I believe the drivers door lock mechanism controls the rest of the central locking system. I had an auto electrician fix my a6 which had a similar issue for £120. Obviously if it's not that then I'd say it's the module.
