Noise after ignition switch off

Hi knowledgeable people!

after many hours of research I found this video

the only issue is the guy in the video doesn't explain it!

It sounds like it is coming from the glove box area and goes cray when I switch the engine off and sometimes at other random times or when I switch the air con on.

any ideas what it is and an estimate of cost please?

would be appreciated

many thanks

Jamie

Welcome to the forum Jamie, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :)

Have you had a diagnostic check carried out to see what fault codes flag up?

I'm wondering if the noise is linked to the heating/air con system but I am just guessing here.

Cheers

Steve

Hi Steve and thank you

I have the car for sale so cant have it sat in a garage being dismantled and didn't want to spend any more cash on it, I am happy to discount the price but don't want to be taken for a ride!

many thanks

Hello Jamie,

It might be me or my system, but unfortunately the video doesn't show me anything or present any noises.

Can you record your noise and post it on here? - otherwise we are all/ well at least me are shooting in the dark.

Kind regards,

Gareth.
