Moving Pictures Posted June 29, 2018 Share Posted June 29, 2018 Hi Guys. Just acquired my first Audi. A 2010 S Line TDI Quattro. Unfortunately, I bought it privately from a rouge in Huddersfield. (I'm sure there are lots of lovely people in Huddersfield BTW) Anway, he lied about the timing belt and water pump being replaced : / But worse than that the small oil leak he said was 'nothing' turned out to be a dodgy turbo which needs replacing - I'm gutted : ( Anybody know a good garage that I can trust in Liverpool to complete the repairs. Steve Q Posted June 30, 2018 Share Posted June 30, 2018 Welcome to the forum Frank, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 sorry to hear of your problem, are you sure you don't have any consumer rights? with regard to turbos my advice would be to either get a genuine new one or a genuine reconditioned one as the aftermarket turbos can be hit or miss. Also make sure what ever turbo you buy comes with a decent warranty. You'll be looking at around £900 for the job.
