Dave rave Posted October 6, 2018 Share Posted October 6, 2018 can you help , so I can help with problem can Anyone tell me 2 things , first is if my fob is not working (or no battery in it) and I put key in ignition Will any dash lights come on ( I know it will not start up lol) and second thing is if I took ecu off car , and put key in ignition (not working but the right key ) would that stop lights coming on dash ,, Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
PeteB Posted October 20, 2018 Share Posted October 20, 2018 If the ECU isn't in, nothing works. It has a central communication hub which talks to all of the other ECU units in the car and if that is fried then other things start to go wrong. This hub has broken on mine, csusing, or at least possibly, the messages from other ECU units to fail to get through. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
