Danny Couzens Posted October 13, 2018 Share Posted October 13, 2018 Hi all I've just bought a audi a4 tdi (2000 w) I've had it about 2 weeks and all is well until it's driven about 20 miles the gear changes become really difficult you have to yank it out of gear and really push it into the next yet cold it's as smooth as it should be any suggestions where to start?? Danny Couzens Posted October 23, 2018 Author Share Posted October 23, 2018 Right gearbox oil definitely the culprit it was creamy like it was mixed with water but it's a air cooled Manuel transmission anyone know how the oil has become so contaminated??
