I own a 2008 Audi A4 Avant which has an intermittent alarm problem while locked I've had a diagnostic performed and as the title suggests I have fault code 01330 comfort system Central control module voltage supply too low. is there a separate battery that powers  the CCC and the alarm ? Can I simply replace this battery and therefore solve the low voltage problem ?

Hi Richard there isn't a secondary battery. My advice would be to get your actual car battery checked as it could be on it's way out if it's the original. Halfords can do a battery check for you to make sure it's providing enough umph.

Cheers

Steve

Hello Richard,

'Supply voltage low' - can be due to high contact resistance onto the component. This can sometimes be rectified by spraying the connector plugs with contact cleaner and wiggling. Sorry, don't know where the component is on the car, but hopefully someone will come along with the answer.

Kind regards,

Gareth.
