NoggyMatt Posted December 13, 2020 Share Posted December 13, 2020 Hi my S4 had a problem with a flooded ECU box (previous owners neglect) and the 2 relays 219 & 373 where all corroded and the fan ran constantly, i paid the man, got the laptop out and cleared all the fault codes, fan stopped running when car was off, so drove home 350 miles, then a few days later it had rained and after my lights, indicators, horn, and key fob stopped working, and then the car would not start so i swapped out the BCM from under the dash with one from my other B6 S4 cleared the fault codes after saving them, then all worked ok, and the car started, it ran a bit lumpy but ok, then i disconnected the battery as was stored under a sheet outside and did not want it connected just in case and i wanted to change out the problematic relays and dry out ECU box, went to Audi Gatwick and paid the £85 for the 2 relays 219 & 373 now superseded with 645 relay, i de-pined and cleaned and dried all the terminals, 1 wire broke off the terminal on relay 219 on T pin, i stripped the wire and soldered it back to the plug terminal. put the relays in, connected the battery to make sure it still run, And Nothing, it just cranks over. today i changed out every relay in the car, still nothing. i have done another vcds scan which i will try and attach.
