Anton8 Posted February 11, 2021 Share Posted February 11, 2021 Hi A strange thing has happened to my A6 Avant. The car has been standing on the drive during this cold weather, and the headlight washers have activated. The car has not been started for 5 or 6 days, how has this happened? Started the engine up just now no change. Any ideas? My thought is, that there was some water in the system that has frozen and pushed the units out. Sprayed with penetrating oil and gently pressed the covers downwards which seemed to release a catch and both retracted ok. Fingers crossed they stay closed.
