Kel84kl
2 MOT advisories last year and car is due MOT in September. Advisories are- offside front suspension arm ball joint dust cover severely deteriorated and nearside front anti-roll bar joint dust cover severely deteriorated. how much are these to fix? What if the ball joint is damaged?
cliffcoggin
If the rubber boots were split ten months ago the joints they cover will undoubtedly be ruined by now and have to be renewed. It would have been much cheaper to get them fixed when the problem was first found. To get an idea of that cost, pick up a phone and call a garage. A3_Ben
I’d say if you’re changing the dust covers, best to replace ball joints too just stops you having to do the same job twice have a look at GSF but depends if you’re doing the work yourself
