Engine cuts out

2016 A6 2.0 Quattro.

I leave my driveway and go about a 1/4 mile to exit my neighborhood.  So while the engine is still relatively cold, the engine will have a hiccup/cuts out as I accelerate into the main street, just for a sec.  Then never again on that trip after warming up.  Sometimes, as traffic allows, I can ease slowly onto the street and it won't cut out, but sure as shootin' at some point in that trip it will have the same hiccup when I pull away from a stop (even when engine is warm), but only once per trip.  But generally it does it before engine warms up, and only when accelerating away from a stop.  It's done this since I bought it used with 11,000 miles, now has 43,000.  I don't use the start/stop function at all.

I've gotten used to it, but wonder if anyone else has experienced this and know what might be the cause?  Thanks.

Hi get it plugged in and diagnosed for faults, could be anything from a dodgy o2 sensor to a blocked fuel filter.
