Garycurran4 Posted August 14, 2022 Share Posted August 14, 2022 I have a 2012 Audi A7. When I press the start button I get the message key not recognised. I have tried the spare key, replaced the key reader and replaced the start stop button but the problem still remains. The car will start when I hold the key up to the key reader. Steve Q Posted August 14, 2022 Share Posted August 14, 2022 I'd recommend a diagnostic check if not done already. Could it be an imobilser fault?
