kec00026
Have a 66 plate A6 C7 Allroad which i got a reputable garage to fit a tow bar to. On first use of the tow bar, towing a horse trailer, the Yellow air supsension fault came up. Have checked all round for air leaks on the car but no issues found, the car doesnt drop if left for an extended period in allroad mode so I dont think any of the boots are leaking. Wondering if it could be an issue with the ride height sensor however i spoke to an independent and they said if i change them out then it needs to be OEM parts which are £££ compared to after market from eBay. Looking to find out if anybody else had a similar issue after getting a tow bar fitted to their A6. Cheers
Steve Q
Was the garage a towbar specialist? I wouldn't be surprised if the towbar has to be coded to the car.

Hi Steve, Yes it was a specialist and coded specifically to the car. Had them check it over after issues and they were certain it had been done correctly on their end. Steve Q
In that case I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
