RichPow
Hi I've an 2016 A4 b9 Avant which I've just purchased Rear bushes look perished..images attached for comments. Has anyone else come across this issue? Is it expensive to fix? How thick should the bushes be? Cheers
jdragon
One on mine looks like that. It was mentioned on MOT last year (before o bought it). Wasn't mentioned this year. I have to say, the other side does look significantly more robust. Garage said it's ok. Just for context; I've been going there for years and trust their judgement. I'll take some photos and post for reference.
Magnet
Can I be excused from thinking these are spring pad seats rather than suspension bushes?
jdragon
You can 😉 I think the MOT referred to it as a rear coil spring rubber mount.
Magnet
That would have been my exact description Jon. Kind regards, Gareth.
jdragon
Forgot about this. The MOT flagged offside. It's not as bad as I thought. Nearside added for reference.
