sj469 Posted December 3, 2014 Share Posted December 3, 2014 Basically when i change up through the gears theres like a weird whirling type noise that i can hear and when i hit over 3000 rpm the engine goes into a kind of limp mode and have no power untill i restart the engine and its back to normal? any ideas? 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Nick40 Posted July 4, 2015 Share Posted July 4, 2015 well the weird whirling noise you describe is your turbo,and the lack of power is your car going into limp mode which resets itself upon restarting, you need a code reader and I would guess its a turbo boost pressure problem Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
