Bluetooth Alternative?

We just had a new company Audi A1 delivered, which although nice, has failed to have Bluetooth installed (even the garage couldn't work it out on the settings!)

Anyway to cut a long story short, and no go to the cost of retro-fitting this, what alternatives are there for just making and receiving calls whilst travelling, so as not to break the law and answer a call!!  :)

We actually have an Aux In within the car which is fine for music and audio from our iPhone 5's but its just the calls.

Is there a simple solution as in a mic that we could buy and attach to sun visor to talk and still use the Aux out cable for the car to hear the caller?

Or maybe a comfortable headset with Mic (instead of the white apple earbuds) ?

This maybe our purchase now, so any money saving solutions would be a great alternative.

Thanks

Hi Mike, welcome to the club  :)

I would suggest the best solution would be having a Parrot or similar installed:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Parrot-MKi9200-Bluetooth-Car-Kit/dp/B001IA3SZ0

This would essentially be almost the same as using factory bluetooth, auto connecting to your phone when you get in and automatically muting the radio/music for you to take the call and resuming after. This will require professional installation unless you are handy with that sort of thing (radio out, running cables behind trim etc).

The cheapest/simplest solution would be something similar to the following:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Parrot-MKi9200-Bluetooth-Car-Kit/dp/B001IA3SZ0

It just plugs in your aux socket and allows you to run a hands free call through the aux.

Downside is you have to remember to charge it and switch over to aux mode when a call comes in, but it's cheap and it works.
