hi guys i have 02254 interface to generator no signal intermittent and 02479 partial consumer shut off active

anyone ever had these codes and can shed any light on whats causing this 

car starts ok drives fine

It would appear that this is a warning that the alternator / battery may be failing.

Would check the battery condition first (as it's that time of year where it's getting colder and more consumables are switched on). Ensure you carry out a heavy discharge test on the battery and check the alternator output also.

If you have a multimeter to hand, place the terminals on the battery and get someone to load up the electrical system by turning all the ancillaries on (air cond, high beams, heated rear screen, etc) that should then load the alternator (e.g. getting it to work hard to send current to the battery to keep it charged) and should produce a reading on the meter of around 14.4 volts. If the meter doesn't change much when the ancillaries are switched on/off then the alternator could be suspect.

Check also the battery terminals are clean and secure. Also worth having the battery deep discharge tested by a garage as this will determine if it is on it's way out....it may be fine at the moment but it could be weaker than it should be hence the vehicle sensing it under load.

Your Voltage regulator is faulty and is not sending DFM signal to BCM which is located in the boot. There is plug on the alternator with blue wire u can test that wire between there and Pin 8 at the rear in the plug that goes into BCM. If continuity is OK then is 100% that your voltage regulator is faulty. Easy job to replace.
