  2. I had a non-bose concert system in mine but the CD player failed. After much looking and cogitating I decided to steer well clear of the Xtrons etc and go with a solid band and put a Pioneer FH-S820DAB, fitted with Connects2 kit to allow steering wheel control and rear amp power (careful you get the powerup line to the rear amp for the sub-woofer). You can set the button and display lights to red so it kind of matches. Sound is very good for the price... I am about to put new pioneer speakers in the front as I am changing door cards, so that should help as well Hope that helps

  3. Totally agree fella, the world is a far better place than it was. The environment is definitely showing signs of improvement, people seem to care a little more and community spirit is significantly stronger. If we don't learn some valuable lessons form this and carry the benefits further then I think our species maybe doomed 🥺we'll see where we all go from here. If you know your history, you'll remember the renaissance period directly followed on from the great plague, I know Covid is no where near those figures but its not over yet lol. Interesting times though eh? What motoring journals do you write for?

  4. Thanks Gareth. That’s most helpfull,I have kyb’s on at the moment and they’re too high but I can chase the part numbers now with my local suppliers and see what’s available. Scowered eBay last night and have found a set in Germany which are a simple clip and groove height adjustment so at least there’s options.

  5. Hi there Steve, yep its been a while since I've had any time at all to myself, so busy the last two years. I set up a media haulage company and have been working really hard at that. I was away from home most of 2019 with it. But since the plague who shall not be named came to visit, the entire industry stopped overnight, so I have had to re-write my business plan completely for the short term. Ive even started delivering shopping to people, which has been fun and rewarding, but not really profitable as using an A8L as a delivery van, although extremely cool, is not really cost effective lol. All good though, not been unwell, thank hell and keeping my head above water. Its been nice to get back into things id missed, like this forum etc. How have you guys been keeping during the pandemic and these weird times we find ourselves in?

  7. Some few years ago, we regularly took our baby in the back of our 911 convertible when touring Tuscany. I heavily modified the Porsche child car seat so it incorporated a blind over her head, and she always wore a tiny little white linen flying helmet, but she loved it. In fact, the only time she ever cried was when we took her out of the seat. The helmet was altered over the years for subsequent Tuscan tours in other 911’s and a couple of Aston’s. By the time we finally changed to a car with more rear seat legroom [ a Bentley ], she’d gotten out of love with the helmet and just preferred to let her hair flow behind her in the slipstream. Being blonde she attracted a lot of attention in Italy.
