Once car has warmed up and temp guage is at 90 degree and i am driving it stays there. If i go and put aircon on say on motorway the temp drops to the notch below which i think is like 70 degree. If i carry on and turn off aircon it goes back to 90 degree. I am thinking the aircon fan is cooling the car too much and its not compensating for this? Anyone know what the issue is would it be thermostat or something else. It in traffic with aircon on or off just seems lumpy like its getting hot but not going over 90 degree then.

I need a vcds/vagcom scan to see when the air suspension fault codes appeared as i sure it shows date etc Can anyone do this in the Northamptonshire area please???

One says leak detected but it said that last winter also and the other is limit reached. So i guess its pumping up then must have tiny leak somewhere. Also had parking sensors start working again so some major electrical issues going on here aswell

Scan shows 01583 & 02250 so looks like its time to get a new car

I ran the fault scanner and there are lots. At this rate car will be turninh into a nice cube

Yes it has air suspension. But i have never heard it running before when i got out of the car. I also have never seen the green down arrown on while driving around. I hope its not busted as i hear they are very expensive

This car is getting annoying! Now if i am on motorway and put aircon on the temp guage drops. If i turn off aircon it goes back to 90 and stays there. Is this a thermostat issue as before even with aircon on would never move from 90.

My q7 2008 just back from garage and now a noise i think front drivers side sounds like a tyre inflator buzzing??? Any ideas as never heard this before and i am worried

My 2008 3.0 tdi cut out on motorway and wont restart. Code scan says 000802 Engine speed sensor no signal G28. I have asked some garage and they said it could be a crankshaft position sensor or camshaft sensor or some other speed sensor for like the abs. I am sure it cant be the last one as this would not cut out the engine for a abs fault?? Is there anyway to find out for sure as rosstech site says the speedsensor is crankshaft position sensor??

I have a 2008 Q7 v6 3.0 sline tdi. It flagged the p0638 so removed the throttle body to check it. The unit was seized so i replaced it with a brand new one. The fault code was cleared and driven. A few starts later the same code was back. I returned the throttle body and got another one from different company. Same again works for a few trips and fault Code comes back. I have tried throttle postion reset on diagnostics softwarw but says ok but fault clears and keeps coming back. Please help me with ideas am i missing something???

Now its dark the auto Headlights are on outside but the dials inside are off. If i turn the lights to manual both are on. But still no wipers on auto or manual and i have even tried unclipping rain sensor still no wipers. Where before if i unclipped sendor wipers would start working. Also getting the rear pas bulb failure on for a while there is something seriously wrong here

Today the same fault shows auto lights/wiper failure along with wiper malfunction. The auto lights are on but the wipers just dont work at all only the rear. Is it possible the wiper motor is broken then as it just will not work today where as before it would clear after a little drive. I can try a new battery but surely the car is telling me the wiper is broken would that not be the first place to check??

Hi, I have a 2008 Audi Q7 3.0 Sline and its driving me mad. Lately i get a wiper motor failure and also auto lights and auto wiper failure on the dash. There is also a rear passenger bulb warning. This happens first thing in the morning and all clear with either a restart of car or while driving. I have had a garage look at the rain sensor and they said it functions ok. The scan show communication issues or something along those lines. Today the failure came on and stayed on the dash but the lights and wipers worked where as before i had no lights or wipers until the fault clears. Please can anyone help me work out what is causing all this??

look on the lcd screen and it may show you the options to raise/lower the car if it has it

Hi, I have just had a 3g mmi retrofitted. Does anyone want the old 2g high for some money?? I dont have any wires just the lcd and all the modules. Please let me know

I have no AMI in my car and want to retrofit it. I have the 2g MMI High with satnav in boot and 6 changer in dashboard and the bluetooth phone. Can anyone help me fit this in the glovebox or armrest. I have looked online and see people selling the kit but no one who can fit them??? Any ideas
