  1. I did this but it's now a new location blood sucking the battery. It's so frustrating I had a stereo issue on my old car was able to fix it easy. Everything on this car is stock so it's so bumbacwazy.
  2. Update: Not started the car in two days went to start it this morning and it was dead... So it seems as though the F19 fuse isn't the only gremlin. The F19 fuse kills the battery over night but something else is on that killed my battery in just over 48 hours. I'm not sure what else to check other than to take fuses out manually. HALP ME !!!!
  3. Oh haha gotcha. I haven't run a test as such just know when the car is off and I take the fuse out and plug it back in it creates a connection as you hear the pop.
  4. Ah I didn't notice I could contribute. Would be good for the site to have a nicer layout but that's personal preference. I'll sign up this weekend and check it out 🙂
  5. Not sure. I've seen an MR2 under a tarp and it's not moved in months all flat tyres. Who'd you contact?
  6. Thanks for that just read the road trip to Belgium. You are right there isn't much on there but cool ideas. I might go ahead and make a site for this as can't seem to find many online.
  7. You could always pick up a used engine? Might end up saving you money. https://www.enginesod.com/audi/18-tfsi-audi-a3-sportback-a4-tt-code-byt-160-bhp-2007-14-petrol-type-engine/?gclid=CjwKCAjwoMSWBhAdEiwAVJ2ndrk04qx5OKNkAnh1G0HBngy-5YgFjCh2urS7U7Sna4q3C4wAH2VLHxoCub8QAvD_BwE https://www.enginesod.com/audi/18-tfsi-audi-a3-engine-vw-golf-skoda-superb-2012-18-cjs-180-bhp-engine/?gclid=CjwKCAjwoMSWBhAdEiwAVJ2ndpPeDOuDdGxaqkl811rlNBA-1HkCSs-D5fufyB1n0zoiiy4Wa7632hoCQ4wQAvD_BwE https://www.enginesod.com/audi/complete-18-a3-tfsi-engine-audi-vw-seat-2009-14-cda-petrol-engine/?gclid=CjwKCAjwoMSWBhAdEiwAVJ2ndqxX8AVaeb2GlEiDqRVhvWVvvIIoEqv9gDClDW3QU2reCIaDtL0O-RoCwX8QAvD_BwE
  8. I mean you say this but the bangers you find out in a field how would you go about getting your hands on them?
  9. I've got an Audi S3 that will soon be getting a stage one remap and all new intakes etc... I'm looking to go on an adventure and not sure where to go. I was planning to go to Italy with a few friends last year with an old banger but now having brought this car I'm looking to do a run with just the other half. Italy is a bit of a mission for a first long distance run and I'll hopefully be having a few friends tagging along in their cars/bikes. A travel map to a location would be ace thanks 🙂
  10. One thing you could do is clear the errors and put some flush through the system and give it a hoon in 3rd gear to see it it unblocks the DPF filter. (just a suggestion.
  11. If it was my car and had that type of sentimental value (and could afford the repairs) I'd go ahead with getting the rebuild as like you said "it has been the best car I've had in 30 years of driving." or if you are struggling to get this done in one hit you could always buy a run around until the £££ comes in. Always a difficult decision but ultimately it's down to you 😞 hope my opinion was worth something and please keep us updated. Hope it all works out for you.
  12. So when I remove the F19 fuse the car starts fine in the morning but when left overnight it's dead as a dodo. What is the F9 fuse as not got él handbook with me at the mo.
  13. I do have a question regarding barn find. If you find a car in a barn/field can you really just hitch them up and take them? Probably a silly question but curious to know.
  14. Does anyone know where to get a reliable? I have been getting the car to is original form and am looking to get a reliable NAV CD that doesn't cost £280 lol. Also if anyone know where I can pick up a centre console phone that'd be an added bonus.
