I replaced my ballast with cheap eBay unit been fine ever since ...

Have same issue myself on 59 1.9 tdi changed pump checked all fuses all good maybe give this a go 

Mine was front passager abs sensor got one off eBay replaced myself.

Only found it was this after getting audi specialist to scan car with odis in depth vag scanner. 

Replaced a few components unnecessarily before I got car scanned. 

Mine was done before I bought it and for a 2.0 in dynamic mode it moves down the road ... 

Covered mine same location's with same tape no leaks .....

You removed tape in 2nd picture already? 

Little tip for any1 having this issue 

Remove these small rubber bungs water will flow out ...

There's 1 each side ....

not a solution but better then water building up.

Until we find the main cause.  

My bose amplifier got wet and whole mmi stopped working drying it out fixed the issue. 

Becoming a real problem.

Your a6 looks identical to mine

Mine had small bit damage to abs wire behind suspension passanger side also replaced abs sensor same side soldered up brake sensors they were broken and just twisted together fault never returned....

Mine went up considerably 41 on both q7 and a6 also for my 23 year old daughter a1 .

Tesco is who I use atm... 

Possibly battery related.... 

Is there water in the boot 

Did you solve this have same sort of issue with our a1 1.6 tdi 

Starts fine drives fine up until about 50mph then coil light flashes and limp mode changed fuel filter still same ..

I have also notice this once or twice is it possible just to clean surface of connection points with ie sandpaper etc ... 

Mines 2.0tdi 2013 not sure engine code uses no oil at all.

noticed rubber seals have holes in.

Just happened to me today moved car off drive to put on different car was only running few minutes 

Smells bit oily 

Oil and filter and brake fluid changed today ....
