  3. Hey Adam

We run the club through the forum as it's alot easier :) basically the forum and club are one and completely free :)

We think it's alot nicer when people don't have to pay to be apart of an Audi community and this is only possible due to the adverts you see paying to advertise.

We do attend various shows and last year we were giving away FREE t shirts and stickers to club members who displayed their cars with the club. obviously you can buy the t shirts or stickers without attending the shows.

For us it's all about having a nice and friendly atmosphere and getting Audi owners together for events and to offer help and advice to one another :)

    Hope I'v made sense :)

    Cheers

Tried searching it on ebay doesnt find anything ?could u send me links plssssssss 😭

Hmm, well I took the part numbers from another forum and were genuine. My best advice would be to order them from Audi or just look for rear s3 diffusers on eBay as not all sellers know the part numbers.

    Cheers

    Steve

  5. Well the part numbers I'v provided are for genuine Audi parts and I'd say they'd be the best for got and finish in my opinion.

Fitting wise, the lower valance (painted bit) should just unclip from the upper part of the bumper and the grey part should clip in also.

    Cheers

    Hi Steve,

    thanks for your reply.

    its got 84k miles.

yes, I need to get that done. This week the engine/emissions warning light came on. However the noise has been going on for quite some time before the light came on...

i have no issues with power.

When you say a turbo issue, that scares me quite a bit! Would you suggest not to drive it at all?

If it helps, it hasn't had a new cambelt and water pump done yet. Given the age and mileage I think it's about time I had it done. Don't suppose that could cause the noise and the warning light?

i look forward to your reply.

    thanks,

    Tom

Hi Tom its definitely due a cambelt and water pump change.

Sorry, I'v not meant to scare you and to be fair I could be making a star in the dark with that to be honest. I suggest this due to the noise occurring when you let off the accelerator.

The rattle could also be a failing engine mount? I had that on my a6 and the rattle was caused by a broken engine mount.

If the emissions light has come on then this could be due to a failing dpf or egr or at a guess an issue with glow plugs or maybe injectors.

I'd definitely get a diagnostic check done. If it helps your local Audi will offer a free health check but obviously this won't include the diagnostic check which I suspect will cost around £60.

    Sorry I can't help more,

    Cheers

  7. Well like you say you hope it's not the turbo as it's just been refurbished but I'm assuming you have some form of warranty with it?

Replacing the pipes is a good idea as they do have a history of leaking at the seals/joints. I've had a look for part numbers and I've attached 3 eBay links for info. They show you the picture of the part and the part numbers. Here you are:

    https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-A4-B7-1-9-2-0-TDI-INTERCOOLER-TURBO-HOSE-PIPE-04-08-8E0145790P/222628764277?hash=item33d5b55a75:g:DMMAAOSwH35Zpqr6

    https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-A4-B7-2-0TDI-TURBO-INTERCOOLER-HOSE-PIPE-8E0145790P-8E0145790D-NEW/291709798478?hash=item43eb42484e:g:7sAAAOSw-3FZJr8D

Doubt these are all of the pipes but the part numbers and info maybe useful.

Have you had a diagnostic check done to see what fault codes (if any) flag up?

    Hope IV helped :)

    Cheers

  8. Hi Patrick, I think.it depends on which diffuser you get.

The pre facelift s3 had a one piece valance where's the facelift valance came in 2 pieces. This therefore affects the fitment of the diffuser.

As yours is a facelift I believe you need 2 parts which are:

    8p3 807 434 G the grey bit

    8p4 807 521K the painted bit

To make it easier I'v attached 2 pics. The first one shows the diffuser on the s line. You can see the great piece at the bottom of the bumper and around the exhaust. And the painted piece is the lower part where the line on the bumper is. Hope that makes sense.

The second pic shows the painted part with out the grey piece attached. I got the pics off another site.

    Hope I'v helped :)

    Cheers

  9. Welcome to the forum Tom :)

You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :)

What's the mileage on your a5?

My first port of call would be to have a diagnostic check carried out to see what fault codes (if any) crop up.

I'm wondering if this could be a turbo issue?

Is there any loss of power at all?

    Cheers

    Steve

  10. Hi Wesley, you should be fine to wait till the car service light comes on. Audi use castrol long life oil which is good for 20k/2 years.

I've attached this link to the servicing information from Audi. Hope it's useful :)

    https://www.audi.co.uk/owners-area/servicing-maintenance-mot/servicing-your-audi.html

Basically it comes down to your driving style according to Audi. If your doing mainly town driving then they advise once a year but if it's motorway and fast runs then you'll be fine for the 2 year/20k.

    Hope IV helped :)

    Cheers

I'm not too sure on what clutch to recommend to you to be honest. But I would advise ringing the tuning company who carried out the work or speak to the previous owner (if possible) to establish which one they fitted. It would be more work but better safe than sorry.

    Sorry I can't help more :)

  12. Welcome to the forum Vladimir :)

You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :)

The wheel torque setting is 80lbs/ft which is 110Nm

By the way feel free to post a pic of your Audi in our Audi's from around the world thread. I'd love to see your a3 in the US! :)

    Cheers :)
