Mannnnnn my head got spun hard I called Audi Harold wood told him I need a minor service as Audi Chingford said major, minor, minor. He tell me he's been working for Audi for years and that's wrong! Major, minor, major is what Audi recommends he said uve been told wrong. I said ok give me a major Chingford told me spark plugs are separate from service he said no that's wrongs spark plugs included in full service price of £329. He even put in a little jab we much better then Chingford. Who telling me correct Chingford or Harold wood? Is it as Chingford said major, minor, minor, major. Or harold wood major, minor, major? -
Hi Guys. Has anyone tried to lower 2017+ A4 B9 Saloon or Avant I have done some extensive research and it seems only two Brands are available in the UK Eibach - Pro Kit lowers F+R 30mm and Sportline F 45mm + R 40mm Emmanuelle Design (USA brand) - F+R 40mm Bear in mind Sport suspension is already 20mm lower from factory. The USA has available H&R F+R 40mm and 034Motorsport F+R 50mm I am awaiting confirmation from H&R Germany if the kit they supply the USA fits UK Specs B9 It appears no one in the UK has lowered a B9 unless I can not find any information/pics. If anyone has any information, please share it on this thread..

Good Afternoon, I'm new to the forum. I'm looking at a temporary run-around car at the weekend and would like some advice. Its a 2005 B6 Audi A4 3.0tdi S-Line Quattro, it has a full service history (not all main dealer), 200K miles, MOT till June 2018. Also, 18" RS6's, full 2 tone leather, dual climate control, rear park sensors, sat nav, on board computer, roof bars etc. £1,500.00 due to mileage. What is the major problems with these cars? should the oil pump have been replaced by now? what should i look out for in the service history? I've attached advert of the car in question, i'll likely do 7k mile maximum and be selling. I'll like bring a friends diagnostic computer with me and a mechanic if possible. Thanks Aaron Flanagan

Hi all,I've got a 62 (Jan 13) reg Audi A4 Avant Black Edition (1.8 TFSI) with 104k miles on the clock..Recently it has started to develop some issues which is typical as i'd like to sell it as barely using it anymore.1. PDC have just started to not work.. orange light flashed on the button2. Air Con won't cool or heat up3. When I engage reverse, the car takes a little bit of time to engage the gear. (is this normal)4. Lights and started pointing in different directions.. (think cross-eyed)5. Hi All, I've bought 2012 (62 plates) Audi A4 2.0 TDI Technik. Really happy how it drives and with the general condition of the car. To be honest I took a huge risk buying this car as it had no service history and it is a Cat D car. The seller showed me pics of what happened to the car and it really was a minor damage, most people wouldn't even repair it probably, just a few medium dents. But I got it cheap and from my point of view, the car is in really good condition. It has 100K on the clock (only verified it by previous MOT readings.), Milano leather interior and etc. I've done around 500 miles on it now and so far so good. The only thing that worries me is MPG. I've driven in from Romford to Horsham (62 miles, mostly motorway) and the computer shows 52 mpg. I expected to get above 60mpg as I was really gentle and was driving with cruise control on at 70mph. I believe that this is because of huge 19 inch alloys from RS4 that the previous owner installed. I have 3g basic MMi and already ordered Bluetooth AMI adaptor from eBay as current bluetooth only allows me to make calls, but I want to stream music. I hope that by joining this forum I'll get a lot of new knowledge (I am completely new to VAG) and maybe even will start making my own contributions :) By the way, here it is:

Hi, can someone please help me, new to this.ive got an Audi A4 b8 s line and I was getting the parking brake malfunction visit workshop on the DIS, and when I tried realising the EPB the right caliper would realise but the left wouldn't. Thought it was the caliper so I changed it with another one and it seemed okay for a day. Then the same error had came up and I stuck my vcds on and the issue is 02432 supply voltage for left parking brake motor (v282) 011 - open circuit - MIL ON. Anyone know what it could be I've tried searching for this but I haven't found anything the same. Could it possibly be the wiring harness to the motor?any help is much appreciated.

Good evening Audi folks. I've had Audi's for years but for the first time ever I am stumped as to the cause of a potential problem and was hoping someone on here could help. At the minute I've got a 2007 Audi A4 2.0 TDi (170) that has started making this awful noise. I've attached an attempt at recording the sound on my phone. The sound does not change pitch or volume with engine speed but does with the speed of the car. It is loudest between 30 and 50 mph. When a dip the clutch and rev the engine the noise does not alter and the engine seems fine. I was hoping one of you may be able to identify what could be causing it? There doesn't appear to be any obvious drag on the car, nor does it pull to either side. So I doubt it's brake related. The tyre wear looks pretty even but it's only been making this noise for a couple of weeks. So maybe it's bearing related? Hopefully the attachment works and someone out there can diagnose this annoying sound. Thank you for taking the time to look. PTT-20170612-WA0003.opus

Hi Guys, New to this forum so please go easy on me :) I have read through posts with similar issues to what I am having and wondered if anyone can throw some light on it please? I have a A4 S - line Convertible 2007 2.0TDI which will not start when the car is hot, I will explain what I have done so far!! So in the morning the car starts fine, it drives perfect all the time and I get a good 50-60mpg no issues at all, about a month ago I parked up and went to move the car after an hour but it wouldn't start, engine turns over fine but no fire, so I had it towed home and in the morning I tried it again with a nearly flat battery and it started. Forward on a month and its now getting worse, I have read tons about this so changed the coolant sensor and fitted a new battery as the old one was a Moll from 2007 but its still doing it, if you start it and turn it off then straight back on it fires instantly but randomly it will not start if I go get fuel, shopping etc. Its been into a Audi specialist who cannot find a fault and it has been scanned many times and no codes are showing, I have no CEL either. Now if I leave the car for approx. 2 hours it will start, sometimes a bit longer than normal to start but it will go. I have seen issues with the starter motor but the garage says its not that as it turns over fine around 400 rpm iirc, they checked the Crank and Cam sensors and they work ok but I have seen on the net that A4's have a issue where the starter motor has some sort of heat sink issue, the Audi place wants it to go to a Derv Fuel specialist to check injectors etc. but I am reluctant as the car is perfect apart from the starting issue and they think its fuel related, they checked the fuel pump too and that purrs away nicely when you turn on the ignition. I have tried starting the car with the coolant sensor disconnected and it still will not start when warm. Any ideas? Sorry for the novel of a post haha

I have a 2014 A4 in phantom black and want to upgrade the wheels. Does anyone know what the offset is and which other manufacturers wheels would fit? Thinking of grey/anthracite coloured wheels if anyone has any pics. Thanks

Evening all, I've had my Audi S4 2010 B8 for two weeks now and I'm loving it! Having an issue playing music from Spotify on my phone though. I've been told I do need some sort of bluetooth adapter that plugs into the slot in the glovebox to connect to that to then stream music from my iPhone 6S. I've looked on American (recommended by others in forums) sites for a bluetooth adapter but there are different types; 2GEN and 3GEN. I'm not sure which MMI I am running! Here's a photo of my centre console. I'd also prefer to purchase my 'adapter' from a UK supplier. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks a lot, Andrew.

I have an A4 b7 Convertible, seems the motor connected to the pump has stopped working, Roof only folds back 1 inch or rear panel lifts 1 inch I have seen on ebay a guy who fully refurbs the motors for about 85 quid, would you say this is the sensible route?

Hello, I purchased last year a black Audi A4 3.0, V6 Quattro Cabriolet. Great car so far, one thing is really bothering me however! The clutch when pressed has a rough 'grinding' feel to it. I think its got worse over the past few months. The clutch seems to work fine, with no slippage etc and there are no noises that associate with the rough feel, but its now really ruining the drivability of the car. In addition, when the clutch is pressed and when I rev the engine, I can actively feel the revs through the clutch etc. Could this be the clutch release bearing? If so, big job or total clutch replacement. the car has the original unit and is on about 80k so far. Or could this be the DMF. I'm not quite sure what the usual symptoms of that would be however? Any advice is appreciated! -

Hi Guys My Audi is an A4 Exec 143 model from 2008, and I've been having issues with the climate control system Although the driver side seems to work fine, the passenger side vents continues to blow hot air, tried the obvious with the settings, and also syncing the dual controls to the driver settings but nothings working. As you can imagine its a nuisance as the car gets really warm if your doing a journey of any sort of length Is there a known issue with these? Is it an easy fix or something thats going to need a professional look at? Thanks much appreciated

Hi all This has been an issue I have ignored roughly last six months During a 20 minute, 8 mile drive, three times this morning the car did that random fluctuate power or loss of engine torque for 1-2 seconds at any speed or gear it goes and then comes back and acts as normal again. I prey it's just a simple thing to replace to fix, cheaply and quickly. Any ideas or expert vag/Audi mecanic's I can go to (anywhere within a reasonable distance) I live East of London and I'm usually off Saturdays only. Fyi cars alway been immaculately serviced on time at every interval vehicles required most recently April minor service received.

Hi just bought a 2007 A4 3.0 Quattro tdi.....love the car but one problem. Sat nav disc doesn't work. Dealership ordered the wrong one. So, 1, can I buy an up to date disc i.e. 2016, 2017? And, 2, is there a specific format I need to buy? many thanks in advance.

Hi Guys, Recently brought a A4 B7 2.0TFSI Avant (55 plate) and are planning on fitting a RaceChip Pro to it, just wanted to know if I should change the diverter valve? As I've heard they fail!! Not sure if it's the old type above or the newer type below? Appreciate any help that you have.... Regards Robin.

Hey Guys, I am new to forums, I have an issue here and have been trying to find the issue online for months! Car: Audi A4 S line 2009 B8 The issue is as follows: Rattle noise coming from front/mid end of the car (not sure if its inside or outside) - hard to locate. at its worst after first starting up the car, driving over bumps and uneven roads. Runs perfectly on dual carriage ways/motorways. passed MOT has full service history, so no mechanic has been able to locate the issue but can hear the rattle. Would anyone else have any information that could possibly locate this annoying noise? I am fed up of having to drown out the noise with music!!! Suspension and main parts been checked by a mechanic. I'd appreciate if anyone could help! Thanks. -
