  1. Guys I’m very new to this. My first ever German car. I recently bought it from a local car mart here in Jamaica. The car was imported from Japan but during shipping it had some scratches that I need to fix and my spray shop has no clue what the color is. I’ll attach below the car color and the paint code sticker that I found in the boot and the manual
  2. I have an Audi A4 B9 2016 2l diesel and was filling up yesterday and noticed that there was a hole within the housing of the fuel tank next to the drain hole. It has been raining quite a bit recently. I wanted to know what could have caused this? Is it dangerous and how would it be fixed? I have attached pictures If someone could please help would be much appreciated. Thanks
  3. Saying goodbye to this classic car as we have not been using it much. This car is ideal for someone who would continue taking care it and improve it as it still has many years to serve a car lover. It's family owned, passed down from father to son. It's a 30-year old beauty, mainly driven by father and brother around London, hence low mileage and 3 owners (including us). The car was bought new by father. Service history is partial as he was bad at keeping documents! The car has a modern radio (no original radio). It has marks on bodywork, but mechanically it's been checked and has had work done. It drives and starts fine. The interior is fabric and needs a clean. Engine size 2309cc. It's convertible, but the roof is put down manually. The roof is in good condition, although reproofing is needed and a small tear needs to be patched. Car reg K2LGW. Currently has a valid MOT. Located in Earlsfield, London. Open to offers. Don't hesitate to get in touch if you have further questions on 07475091685! 🙂
  4. I bought myself 2003 Audi A3 8P a few months ago, and since then, my ESP light on the cluster has been staying a bit illuminated. Anyone know what the issue might be? Can it be a blown bulb?
  5. Hi, I have a 2014 Audi A5. My auxiliary (Secondary) Water Pump is on it's way out and needs replacing. Does anyone have any idea where the pump is actually located at all please? A decent diagram or even better a picture would help me loads Thanks Ant
  6. Hi Everyone, Recently upgraded my Audi Q2 Edition 1 to a Q3 Sportback Black Edition. I have stuck the Audi Q2 All Weather Rubber Mats on eBay and they end this weekend if anyone is interested. Great condition, so grab yourself a bargain! It’s for the front and rear and usually £108 RRP for all 4. Couple of pictures attached and eBay link below. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/256069280094?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Xd_FRNQDQCq&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=Xd_FRNQDQCq&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Cheers, Dan
  7. Used condition still work perfect looking for £100 for the set
  8. Hi, I’m having a few issues with my Audi A5. Firstly, anytime I start the car on a cold engine the car shakes for a few minutes 2-3 mins due to excess air build up. This is the error codes I get: P2187 - lean fuel mixture at an idle in either Bank 1 P2279 - intake air system leak I tried using fuel injector cleaners and the engine light still keeps coming back with these two codes. Anytime I reset the codes and start the engine the engine excessively shakes for around 3 minutes until I rev the air out. I think that the P2279 code is due to some air leak and I am planning to run a smoke test through the engine to detect the leak, if no leak founds I saw somewhere that I should replace the sensor. I’ve also saw a video replacing the PCV valve diaphragm could fix the issue. My valve seems fine however I read somewhere that they may look ok but still be at fault. Therefore, I have ordered one and waiting for delivery (see attached photo). Apart from these two codes popping up and the engine light going off as well as the shakes when starting a cold engine the car runs perfect. Anyone had any similar issues or know what the problem could be here?
  9. Hi Everyone, I own Audi Q8 2018 and it started making the following issue - when my fuel is around the middle it goes suddenly to the reserve then after some time it goes above the middle. Upon refilling the tank it works fine and then after some time it starts playing again. Any solutions ? What can it be? Thanks
  10. I have audi Q7. Love it. I want to know if this model has an inbuilt GPS tracker in it. Because i want to install one in it if it doesnt have. My son is driving it now. I am going to purchase one from https://www.paj-gps.com/ company. Seems like they have lot of good choices and easy to use trackers. What do you think?
  11. I have seen all the videos of the port being on the right hand side of the foot well but there is just a hole where it’s looks like it should be so I took the plastic tray to see if it was hiding up there but it wasn’t there. Anywhere it could be or has someone taken it out ? A4 Allroad 2017

  16. Hey Everyone, I'm new here but I came looking for some advice, my 2013 Audi A1 decided to play up on me during the weekend, I had just started driving in the morning, car wasn't fully warmed up yet, but I had to stop to sort some stuff out in the back of the car, and I hopped back in, but when I put my foot on the throttle, nothing happened, so I put it back into neutral to see what is happening. Pushed the throttle again, nothing. No revs, only a small flicker on the RPM Gauge. Ill attach a video below to show what was happening. I turned the car off and left it for a minute or two and then restarted it, and it was fine, but this was such a random event I thought I better ask about it. 2134972141_AudiA1ThrottleIssue.mp4

  19. Hey guys I just bought an Audi A4 Avant 1.8TFSI S line this Monday😁 I have a few problems and just wanted some advice from you guys so hopefully I can get some help if you don’t mind! When going onto Engine Oil Level the screen displays that the information isn’t available has anyone had this problem before I assume it maybe and oil sensor problem but I am uncertain? My Xenon headlight o/s says dipped headlight isn’t working and sometimes the light just appears on is this a loose connection and is there a link on fixing this? Lastly, when the engine is started it seems to move a lot that you can feel it stutter type thing in the cabin once it warms up it seems to go away? Any ideas on this?? Any advice would be great sorry for the questions Many thanks, Ryan C
  20. Hi, First time on this so apologies if I end up posting on the incorrect forum or anything but would really appreciate any help right now. The problem is in regards to my 2009 Audi A5 Coupe 2LT which I purchased a year ago and carried out a full service upon purchase. More or less for the past 8 - 9 months the car does tend to smoke when idling (sometimes worse than others i.e. at times the smoke would be heavy after 30 seconds and others itll take a while longer). During this time, i've noticed i've been topping up the oil more frequently than I feel i should, within my time of owning the car i've done around 7-8k miles. I've recently been to a garage who claim my valve stem seals are the main issue for the smoke on idle. I've done some research as to what causes the issue and the 'symptoms'. However, I just want to know how serious is this problem or can I possibly keep my car running like this for another year or so? Thanks for any help in advance
  21. 1. More Easily Changing Wheels Changing wheels on your own is never easy work for European cars (BMW, Audi, VW, Porsche…). When removing and installing wheels that utilize the factory wheel bolts the process can be frustrating, holding the wheel up with your legs, lining up the holes, and threading the bolts all at the same time. What’s worse, on a rainy day, at the high-speed roadside or other harsh environments, it is hard to align the holes, can easily get mad when trying again and again, but fail again and again. Compared with the Japanese cars (Honda, Toyota…), the studs are mounted in the hub and stuck out beyond the brake rotor hat. The wheels are mounted using lug nuts, which are screwed onto the studs. This makes it easier to disassemble and assemble wheels without having to worry about lining everything up. By using the wheel studs conversion, you can make the European cars (BMW, Audi, VW, Porsche…) “transform” into the form of the Japanese cars (Honda, Toyota…), so it is called “conversion”. 2. For Wheel Spacers Needs For some situations, such as widening the wheelbase, or changing to a larger brake caliper, if the rotor hat cannot pass the brake caliper, the wheels won’t be fastened tightly, which cause an accident. In such a case, wheel spacers must be added. By correcting the offset, truly guarantee safety. After installing wheel spacers, the factory wheel bolts will not be long enough, reducing the number of laps for threading. In the case of intense driving, it will cause kinds of security issues. Meanwhile, the length of the stud conversion can be customized flexibly, which makes it possible to install different offset aftermarket wheels. 3. The Aggressive Appearance By installing a stud conversion kit, you can use wheel lug nuts. On the market, there is numerous lug nuts style, some of them are really pretty and cool. How to install them on your BMW, Audi, VW, or Porsche? The studs conversion will do the job perfectly. Besides, the nuts can be replaced more flexibly, such as wheel lock nuts, lightweight and high-strength nuts. These lug nuts make your car look more manly and aggressive. 22. Hi everyone! So I’ve not long had my Audi A7 (2011) and summer is officially over and rain seems to be a regular thing now.. Unfortunately for me the windows are frameless and whenever I open them a sheet of water likes to drop in. I quite like to vape while I drive so I have been looking at getting some wind deflectors. My question to anyone that might be able to help is how effective are the wind deflectors for the A7? Only a handful available online and it’s a lot of money to spend on a bit of plastic.. When I open the doors the windows only drop a little bit so surely the deflectors have to be quite shallow? Has anyone seen deflectors on an A7 and if so how well do they work and do they actually look any good?? Mines currently fully blacked out so shouldn’t be a problem shouldn’t have thought. thanks 🙂
  23. Hey Guys, Help needed please. Have a temperamental Audi a7 that starts fine "sometimes" then other times kicks up a ESP fault alarm and wont start. once this alarm shows i get a host of other random alarms also TPMS fault Gearbox Malfunction Parking Brake Headlight range control then when i switch off the car, lock it and reopen and switch on it will start most times and the alarms are no longer showing. when the car is running it runs fine. I have replaced the battery and cleared the alarms in the car but the same problems persist. This car had a new gearbox and engine seals also done by audi over the last 2 years. other parts replaced where the brake disks, pads, wishbones, track arms, grease boots. general service wear and tear stuff. HHHEEEEELLLLLLPPPPP Please! 😫 Cheers Guys
