  1. Months ago I had oil too up due to a cracked oil collier. 16/08/17 oil light came on I checked under car no leaks or anything obvious to save something's wrong. I checked dip stick an In fact it's on minimum oil level. Current mileage 104514. I've emailed the Audi centre for dates and mileage 1) so I can see what I've done since last oil change and 2) to see if this is normal oil useage for a 2 litre tfsi?
  2. Just bought this for £400 with broken gearbox. Filled the gearbox from the trans cooler as the sump plug was rusted solid. Buy one of these for filling gearboxes they really work a treat. I used Dexron 2 atm fluid, Seems to run fine on 13 liters
  3. GENUINE AUDI ENTERTAINMENT PACKAGE ACCESSORY BRAND NEW , STILL IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING, 4G0 051 700 F TWIN 9" LCD DVD PLAYERS AND SCREENS , INC MTGS , HEADPHONES , REMOTE POWER SUPPLY ETC. NOW £250 PLUS £10 CARRIAGE MORMAL RRP £795
  4. Hello all I have a Audi A6 3.0TDI S Line Le Mans So far I have Upgraded - The exhaust to quad exits like the S6 and it sounds incredible. Had to buy a rear diffuser off a S6 to accommodate them. Proffesional Re Map and that made so much difference in top end acceleration and throttle response. Replaced the grill with a New RS6 grill all in glossy black including the badge. Rear window tints in limo on top of factory tints so it's completely black from the outside, looks superb. Front and back lights slightly tinted but not to much as I don't like them too black as you need them to see and reflect. All the interior lights replaced with white led which really improves the look inside much more modern. 4x Uniroyal Rainsport 3's because in my mind it's mostly raining here in England and they really are good in the wet. Wind deflectors on all windows and now I'm thinking of brakes. It doesn't stop quick enough at the moment because it's got cheap pads on. What pads are people using and if I get ceramic ones will the brake system fry under a lot of hard braking. I am going back to the Nurburgring soon and I don't want them to fade to much as they do now. Do people have vented discs and are they good? Is there much difference? Has anyone done a full upgrade all round or found a big brake kit for the C6? Thanks in advance. I have already been to the Nurburgring in this car and a few others and fried the brakes every time and had to take breaks between laps. I can't wait to go back and do it again though.lkj
  5. Hello all Me Birt Ram and Claire jumped in my Audi A6 3.0TDI S Line Le Mans and headed for Barcelona via Amsterdam. We stayed in Germany for most of the journey rather than France for obvious reasons and we got there in no time. Even when we did have to go through France we averaged 120mph through the night. After a few days in Barcelona me and Birt decided to venture on. We headed for Monaco and both had a go driving through the tunnel so we could say when we watch the F1 that we had done it. It's the small things haha. Then decided we wanted to visit a water park Jesolo which is in Italy. So off we went and through the night again it was superb. We ended up in a race with two identical Abarth 500's which you just couldn't make up, it was amazing, we played with them for a while then !Removed! off using the mighty power from the V6. After visiting the water park we decided that we might as well go to Venice, on the way into Venice you go over a bride covered in speed cameras. Being in a UK registered car I made every single camera flash, that was fun. In Venice we had a wander round got a pizza and then decided it was time so we headed to our favourite place - THE NURBURGRING. On the way there we passed through Austria, we have driven through Austria before and loved it so we were very happy to do it again. It didn't let us down. Superb roads and incredible views. Birt got stopped by the police for speeding and tailgating though. €35 Euro each resulting in a €75 on the spot fine and no points or anything like that. Not to bad. Parked up for the evening in a lay by off a German autobahn I was putting my private reg on as I had just had a phone call to say the new V5 had come in the post at home and a man grabs me. Turns out to be undercover armed police accusing us of stealing the car. After a long time we managed to sort it out even without the V5 and at that point the police had given up. They didn't understand anything about private reg's so by the end they basically just let us drive off and trusted us that we had put the correct reg on. Once at the Nurburgring we did a few laps each with some time in between to let the brakes cool down and had no drama whatsoever so all good. Always worth visiting if you haven't been. After that we decided to stop off in Amsterdam for another night on the way home to relax. Best idea ever. Home safe Month or so later recieve a 100mph speeding ticket from the M25 after doing 155mph legally in Germany. Oh !Removed!
  6. Evening all, I've had my Audi S4 2010 B8 for two weeks now and I'm loving it! Having an issue playing music from Spotify on my phone though. I've been told I do need some sort of bluetooth adapter that plugs into the slot in the glovebox to connect to that to then stream music from my iPhone 6S. I've looked on American (recommended by others in forums) sites for a bluetooth adapter but there are different types; 2GEN and 3GEN. I'm not sure which MMI I am running! Here's a photo of my centre console. I'd also prefer to purchase my 'adapter' from a UK supplier. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks a lot, Andrew.
  7. Hi all, My name is Hasan and I have just purchased my first ever Audi. Always been a 'Golf' man but here we are. As the title explains its an Audi A3 1.6 TDI Sport (8P). Wanted to introduce myself as I'm sure you will all be seeing me on here a lot over the next few months. Will get some pictures posted once I've finished work. Also if anyone has a 3 door 8P preferably around 2009/10 model, feel free to share any pics.

  9. Audi A6 3.0TDI S Line Le Mans I am going back to the Nurburgring soon and I need new brake pads if not a new brake system. Anyone upgraded them? What's best for brake fade and if I get ceramic will it fry the brake system completely
  10. Hi all Was wondering who will be going to Audi in the Park? It's on the 13th of August 2017 at Deene Park, Corby, Northamptonshire, NN173EW Website is here; http://www.audisinthepark.co.uk/page4.htm If you're going head on over to the new part of the forum and say you're coming! this is also for members to point out other Audi related venues and organise one too! http://www.audiownersclub.com/forums/forum/90-regional-club-meets/ Thanks Bradley
  11. Hi All, Now spent a couple of days with my new A7 and still cannot believe its parked on the drive... Couple of questions though,,, the spare key needed a new battery which I have replaced but the car doesn't recognise it. Have tried several youtube and online hints at how to reprogramme it but none have worked - will try the one that was posted on here when I get home but not holding much hope. Any one had this or got round it without using an Audi main dealer ? I contacted Audi to be told that my local garage, Chingford, can't do anything til the end of July and now have it booked in at the end of June at Harold Wood.. Just for a 30min appointment to have the key reprogrammed!! Is this usual for an Audi booking ?? Also I am toying with the idea of getting the car mapped - currently the 245bhp version any ideas of the sort of cost just to stage 1 do not quite need to likes of Kim Collins, I don't think.... Thanks for your time. Mark
  12. Hi all, just signed up, though don't have the Audi yet. Should be getting my 2012 A7 in the next week (or so) after the current owner has the mot and any recommended works done :) Cheers Mark
  13. Hi all, I have a brand new turbo for sale. I bought it initially for my A6 and when I fitted it, I realized that something else was wrong on the car making it not worth fixing it anymore. This turbo ran for litterally 3 minutes. It is a brand new Garett for 1.9l TDI engine (BRE models). Don't hesitate to contact me for more information.
  14. Hi Guys My Audi is an A4 Exec 143 model from 2008, and I've been having issues with the climate control system Although the driver side seems to work fine, the passenger side vents continues to blow hot air, tried the obvious with the settings, and also syncing the dual controls to the driver settings but nothings working. As you can imagine its a nuisance as the car gets really warm if your doing a journey of any sort of length Is there a known issue with these? Is it an easy fix or something thats going to need a professional look at? Thanks much appreciated
  15. Dear motoring world and all those concerned, my Audi problems. December 2014 I purchased car 1 privately a 2005 Audi A4 B7 2.0T s line tfsi on 92k miles, full Audi service history. I paid a reputable mechanic I’d used for eight years to change water pump, timing belt change and a full service. On date 6/5/15 car 1 while stuck in slow moving traffic in south London the car engine failed randomly with no warning on Mileage 95k, vehicle towed to mechanic. Mechanic informed me reason for failure Audi part known to commonly fail on my vehicle called the OIL CHAIN PUMP had failed resulting major total engine failure. 27/05/15 Contacted Audi uk customer service to invite Audi Bromley to view the vehicle located at mechanic’s. I was told someone would come. 28/05/15 Audi master technician (from Audi Bromley branch) viewed my vehicle at mechanics. No written report done by Audi, but confirmed verbally to Audi Bromley service manager Richard Balcomb the OIL CHAIN PUMP FAILURE. 01/06/15 Cased assigned to Audi uk case manager. 01/06/15 Audi case manager Ben O informed me repair may cost £4500. 08/06/15 Via phone spoke to Audi business manager Mathew Well’s. I explained the situation to him, which I was informed he would get back to me via email which he never did. 09/06/15 Audi case manager Ben O closed my case, stating “Audi legal department said, Audi cannot prove when oil chain pump failed, if the vehicle continued to be driven whilst warning light on, so cannot support cost of repair, we cannot apply good will discount because vehicle not bought from Audi” he also mentioned the repair would be uneconomical due to costing more then the vehicle £7000-£8000 new replacement engine cost. I asked for a contact address to use for a small claims court and was given ‘Audi auk, Brunswick court, Yeomes Drive, Blakelands, Milton Keyes, MK14 5LR. As a result I had to scrap the vehicle at a great loss to myself. Audi treated me poorly leaving me very upset. Moving onto 2015 Thinking car 1 was a one off. I did truly desire this specific vehicle model Audi A4 B7. I did my research re oil chain pump design changed in 2007 + and purchased car 2 also bought privately a 2007 Audi A4 B7 2.0T s line tfsi on 88k miles, full Audi service history. On mileage 94k guess what happened? While driving at around ten mph around the corner from my house. On date 30/03/16 I had another major engine failure re OIL CHAIN PUMP to my shock horror. I debated heavily with Audi uk for the car to be fixed by them for free but they refused and instead offered me an Audi executive £250 Audi voucher I was livid and furious. I could not even reply back as I was speechless given what had happened to car 1 and car 2 both suffering the same issue. This time I could not afford to scrap another Audi vehicle. I paid Audi Chingford around £2880 (with good will discount applied apparently) that cost hit me hard I literally had to take out a loan to pay for the repair as I could not afford to pay it (I am still in debt today due to the loan). I was a mess I paid it and decided enough was enough if Audi was not going to help me re OIL CHAIN PUMP failure id take them to court. On my extensive research I found that Audi did in fact know of this issue, also on many online forums this issued had happened to many other Audi owners. To my surprise no uk lawyer or uk group has sued Audi uk over this fault in their engines. I started court proceedings against Audi uk re the above. I requested from Audi uk Solicitors; 04/07/16 I request the following that re my case against Audi uk/vw that they have all knowledge of as I will need this information from Audi. All stats/information to include engines failures for Audi/vw 2.0 TFSI specifically years 2005 to 2007 reported up to present date of year 2016 to Audi preferably in hard copy paper form sent to my address; 1.Statistics for engine failures for all Audi uk/vw vehicles using 2.0 TFSI dated between 2005 to 2007. 2.Statistics for engine failures for all Audi uk/vw vehicles using 2.0 TFSI dated between 2005 to 2007 reference, oil chain pump failures. Including engine failures related and/or parts connected to oil chain pump such as a part called the follower that sits on top of chain on oil chain pump for example. 3.A break down of engine failures ofAudi uk/vw vehicles using 2.0 TFSI dated between 2005 to 2007 inside warranty period and outside that period. 4.Can I request what compensations were offered to owners engine failures of Audi uk/vw vehicles using 2.0 TFSI dated between 2005 to 2007. 5. Request a full report of why 2005 to 2007 Audi/vw 2.0 TFSI engines fail reference oil chain pump/related parts near to oil chain pump. Which they did not supply to me. I only got a small insignificant amount from them that in no way covered the thousands of pounds I lost ref the two Audi vehicles. 20/07/16 Eventually Audi uk lawyers settling out of court with me offering a small token amount towards the thousands I’d spent fixing car 2. I emailed all the Audi/vw directors I could find about my story and not one of them had the fortitude to email or contact me back. Moving onto 2016 Unfortunately the drama does not end. Car 2 had several oil warning lights go off. March 2016: full service Audi Chingford (no engine issues reported). APRIL 2016: Oil chain pump failure, resulting in engine rebuild at Audi garage (around 94000k). 23rd July 2016: check engine oil light on (97228k) 16th August 2016: Engine oil pressure too low warning light (97826k). 3rd December 2016: check engine oil light on (100187k). I complained and eventually brought car 2 back to Audi Chingford, they had the vehicle for several days for for me to be told ‘there’s nothing wrong with the vehicle and they cannot find anything wrong’ I was very surprised but I took their word for it, until I got one or more engine oil warning lights. I got straight on the phone to Audi uk where I was eventually told the oil usage for my vehicle was normal and I should expect to re oil my vehicle around every three months. I was confused as before the Oil chain pump failure it ran way more the three months with no oil warning lights. So I needed a second opinion. Moving on to 2017 I elected to find a next Audi. I found a service center called Audi Harold wood. I requested from them a service, front disc brakes change and most importantly to find the source of my engine oil warning lights. They came back to me confirming what I’d known all along, there was something physically wrong with it. With engine oil saturating the sump, but at that time they could not pin point exactly where the issue was. I was asked to drive the vehicle at least four-hundred miles then bring it back for further investigation. At this point I was impressed that they had confirmed a fault. I booked the vehicle in for March 2017. I received a call from a manager called John, John informed me or words to effect ‘They think the leak is around the OIL COOLER (I think he said), he said if Audi Chingford did not touch/move/replace it at all you would have to pay for the repair. He will find out from his master technician to give me a result. 20/03/17 I emailed all the Audi and Vw directors I could find again this time. I wanted to share my pain, frustration, feedback and unhappiness with Audi management etc….., re two different Audi A4 2.0T TFSI vehicles. 21/03/17 I received an email back from a Audi customer service rep informing me Cian O’Brien, Director of Audi UK has started an investigation re my issues. The end 22/03/17 Informed by Audi Harold Wood Manager, Rocker cover gasket £256, oil cooler £256, £87 labour and looking at another part mite need replacing possibly oil cooler hose, best will give me is 10% discount good will. I am majorly annoyed that coincidentally the oil chain pump fails Then soon after oil lights, oil leaks and then oil related parts are found to need replacing, madness! Yet more money to spent even for a now around ten year old vehicle it’s outrageous. 23/03/17 I spoke with an Audi uk customer service person Nicola B, who informed me after she looked at the history of my issues no help will be offered to me by Audi uk, suggesting I part exchange the vehicle. 27/03/17 I sent my experience to the government department VOSA re my, safety concerns for myself and other current Audi A4 TFSI owners. Evidenced by numerous internet forums where other Audi TFSI owners also suffered oil chain pump failure/failure cam follower on oil chain pump. I feel as a matter of a major safety concern re both vehicles if they failed while I was driving the vehicle(s). If they had failed at speed. I or other(s) could have suffered a fatality, inside vehicle re collision or other or outside vehicle(s) re a collision or other. I feel due to all……. the above car 1-2 the repair should be done for free or super good will discount with Audi footing the bill. Conclusion From my short three years experience with the Audi brand, Audi uk and Audi vehicles it’s been a financially painful journey (re car 1+2 spent close to £20,000 in totality), very stressful, probably putting me off ever owning an Audi vehicle. Even though I love the look of some of their vehicles. I felt let down by the vehicles for breaking not once but twice, Audi uk making me a £250 voucher offer to cover thousands of pounds of repairs and their generally poor handling of a situation that I’m unfortunately not the first person this has happened to. I suggest to anyone thinking of purchasing a Audi 2.0 Tfsi B7 model DON’T stay well clear of this Audi vehicle is my best advise. This will likely be my last ever Audi vehicle maybe. I shall take the little money I have left on the earth to go to another brand like Lexus etc……………...
  16. Just wanted to say hi as this is my first post here. I like food, travelling, driving or anything that attracts my attention, but yes mostly cars and automotive world. Recently i filmed a video of the new 2017 A7 Sportback Black Edition. Please check it out it is an awesome car. http://bit.ly/2pgNbSG
  17. Hi all This has been an issue I have ignored roughly last six months During a 20 minute, 8 mile drive, three times this morning the car did that random fluctuate power or loss of engine torque for 1-2 seconds at any speed or gear it goes and then comes back and acts as normal again. I prey it's just a simple thing to replace to fix, cheaply and quickly. Any ideas or expert vag/Audi mecanic's I can go to (anywhere within a reasonable distance) I live East of London and I'm usually off Saturdays only. Fyi cars alway been immaculately serviced on time at every interval vehicles required most recently April minor service received.
  18. Hello all! My 2nd hand transfer box arrived today, now all I need to do is get it in the car/get it put on the car by someone else lol. Is this a hard job?? And do you think it's going to be expensive? Dreading it! 😫Just want my car back on the road already... cheers!
  19. Hello there, I'm new to this forum! Have had my Audi A3 about 6 months now, would never go back, great cars! I've recently had some trouble though 👎(Just my luck!) the transfer box has broken, there is a hole in it and leaking oil... I've been looking around on eBay etc. For this part, I have found a couple online for around £400-500. I'm not so great with this kind of thing however... lots of questions!! Does it have to be one of the exact same car? is it ok to get a second hand one? Also is this a common problem with the A3? Thank you so much, only been on here a hour and found lots of interesting stuff already! Josh
  20. Hello Friends i am newbie in this forum
  21. Hello there has anyone got a transfer box for sale for a Audi A3 3.2 Quattro 2004?? Does it have to be one from the same model as mine or will any others fit? Thank you!
  22. Hey guys, i just wanted to say that if you ever wanted to get your Car wrapped or customise is in any way then do it at Prestige wrap, those guys are the best, i gave them my Audi A5 couple of weeks ago to do, full wrap, Alloy referb, break calipers and detailing, i have to say the car turned out amazing, they took care of every little detail, their finish is just spot on, i knew the final outcome will be great but this is more than awesome, i couldn't be happier. thanks to Prestige Wrap & Custom.
  23. I am so excited, we have ordered a new Q7 and cannot wait for the car to arrive. But then began the worry about if I have chosen the correct colour. We have specced Sepang Blue, which is a lovely colour and I have seen other Audi's (SQ5, S3 etc) in Sepang blue, but never seen a Q7 in the flesh. Photos online do not always look right. I am thinking about changing the colour to ink blue or daytona grey to make sure this great car looks 'stylish' and 'prestige', I am concerned that sepang blue may 'cheapen' the look of the car. What are your favourite colours for the Q7?Should I stick with Sepang Blue? Not many of these about, whats the reason for that!Great dilemma to have I guess, but cannot make my mind up!!Craig
  24. hi guys, not long got my black A1 (2011 TDI sport), I've got: my 3 back windows tinted black, shark fin aerial just wondering if anyone else has any ideas on good mods for the car? looking to get black wheels too but just stuck on things I can do externally and internally? also considering fly eyes any suggestions I would be grateful thanks Jay
  25. Hi, All Of late or rather in the last (2) days I have noticed the steering on my 2011 Audi A4 3.2 Quattro S Line to have become quite stiff. At high speeds I find it dangerous, as some effort needs to be put in on Lane Change. The car had been driving absolutely fine, after a Full Service. I have even noticed at slower speeds a heavy steering an again some effort an thought has to be put in when cornerImg or taking roundabouts. Prior to the issue, or me noticing. The steering was exceptional feather light on slow speeds an stiffened a little at higher . I noticed as that gave it the distinct Audi Driving Experience now feels like a older Model vehicle. The Car is a 2011 Step-Tronic, if anyone has any advise, suggestions or even the solution please share. Your comments are appreciated, Jay86
