  1. Hello. I have recently purchased a 2013 A4 S Line Black edition, I am having difficulty connecting the Bluetooth for audio. I have bought several aftermarket leads that plug in to the adapter in the glove box and none of them appear to be working. Any advice on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Hi, new to the forum and new to Audi ownership. We have a 2006 A3 Sportback with the single din cassette player and factory CD autochanger in the glovebox. I'm looking at replacing the head unit with something more modern if possible? Something with microSD or USB input and bluetooth if possible. Also it would be nice to retain the CD changer connectivity as well, although I assume this would be a bit of an ask? Any suggestions please? Thanks.
  3. Hi All! I've just acquired an A5 cabriolet with an ancient looking something or other under the armrest which is no use for anyone. Does anyone know of a minor mod or something I can do with this space to make it useful? I have bluetooth but an iphone so no wireless charging yet. Has anyone done anything like this? I've seen someone do something similar here but it's not quite the same and not a very innovative solution: Any pointers would be great! Thank you!
  4. Hi guys wondering if you can help me out! I want to put a touchscreen with nav in my A3 but id preferably like to keep audi parts. Not aftermarket. I have a 2007 (56) A3 8p 2.0tfsi Sport Quattro with the standard headunit and no steering wheel controls. Can I fit the touchscreen headunit out of a S3 8p in mine easily? Would it work better if i change my steering wheel also so it has the steering wheel controls? Thanks in advance!
  5. I'd like to come up with a neat and tidy solution for my MMI (3G HDD, joystick, jukebox etc) to iPhone 7 (lightning). There are three major points: It has to be able to transmit audio - currently, onboard Bluetooth will not so I can't get Spotify/iTunes or Google Maps (Audi Nav isn't up to scratch with current traffic info) I need to be able to see maps, so the phone can't just be plugged into AMI and be kept in the glovebox - separate cradle needed - Ideally around the passenger air vent area, see pic. It needs to be chargeable when mounted. Maybe the simplest solution is AMI>lightening but with some sort of extension to then go into a cradle? I looked into Qi but then that means a permanent charging case and still no mount/audio option. I currently have a Bluetooth to FM transmitter from my old car but signal is patchy, no charging option and still no mounting option. Please help, my head is spinning! I'd love to see what others have done and if there's a solution I can commandeer!
  6. Have acquired an RCD310 radio with Bluetooth from a 2011 Golf. Looking to replace my Audi Symphony factory unit. Has anyone had any success or knowledge in fitting one into an A4 B6?
  7. Hi So i just bought a audi tt sline on a 2014 plate. Without even thinking or asking I just assumed I would be able to connect my phone and play spotify etc. But NOOOOO appears not! What is this thing! My old Audi A1 had some flip up dash screen audio device ... much more modern than this ark age thing. I can not figure how to use this to connect my phone Yes i read the manual no I don't have a degree in Audi. My phone is connected to make calls but I can not play music. Help me!! Do I need to buy a bluetooth eBay device or fit and aux in or should i dump it at Audi get charged prob £400 and get them to sort it.. so i can sing along to bieber once again. Or do i remove this piece of plastic junk and replace it ! Thank you
  8. Hi guys! I'm new to this forum. Just bought an Audi A4 s line tfsi 1.8. It's the most confusing car for aftermarket audio I have ever come across. It has MMI, the single din front concert 10 speaker active system with amplifier in the boot on passengers side. I'm finding that others are getting confused as to what actual car it is. As it has basically got the black edition styling. With 19" 5 cross stroke diamond cut alloys. The top Bose amplified system. Dual heater add on, blacked out back Windows and the MMI system. To someone else the audio may sound pretty good. To me it's not all that. Bad highs, no sub bass. Midrange ok. But has built in controls that dumb down some speakers when volume is turned up (to stop people from blowing the speakers apparently). Basically, I want my 12" active sub box in the boot and later on my components, which are also in MDF BOXES. What people are telling me is this- if you have MMI, basically you've had it. Put in aftermarket HU I loose it all. So got to thinking and started looking at line level converters or LOCs to run either off speaker wires going in to amp or a hi to low unit and catch them on the output of amp (approx 20w rms) in to my active sub box in the boot. Some say I need a top range like the JL Audio (pic 1) yet other peeps say no for just your sub this should do it, (pic 2). Difference between the two in price is roughly £250 or $320. I know the JL Audio does a hell of a lot, but it's so complex I've been told to have done by pro's. Yet the other I'm quite confident that I can do it. The picture 2 is a RCA output of 2. They do a 4 RCA output version for £30 more. But some pro's are saying the cheaper ones can cause problems with the MMI system. Is this true? Can anyone help me out with my problem? Or are having similar issues? I just want a nice sound in my car. You would think a 10 speaker amplified system by Bose would sound great. Trust me, it's just ok ish at best. Thanks for reading my novel lol Dizzyone
  9. Hi, I have an A3 1.6 technik SE 2010 model, can anyone point me in the direction or advise me on my options to use my iPhone for audio and phone calls? There is an aux plug socket in the middle of the two seats but not sure if I need a special adaptor?
  10. Hi all, Let's see them custom audio set up's! Can be yours or if you have pictures from shows that you've been too :D
  11. Hi everyone, just picked up my A6 with the MMI and tech pack and all is good and connected but I cant seem to get voice commands to work for the audio interface items - the manual hints that selecting songs, playlists and artists are all doable but it only ever seems to want / expect a nav instruction. Any help would be appreciated.
  12. We just had a new company Audi A1 delivered, which although nice, has failed to have Bluetooth installed (even the garage couldn't work it out on the settings!) Anyway to cut a long story short, and no go to the cost of retro-fitting this, what alternatives are there for just making and receiving calls whilst travelling, so as not to break the law and answer a call!! :) We actually have an Aux In within the car which is fine for music and audio from our iPhone 5's but its just the calls. Is there a simple solution as in a mic that we could buy and attach to sun visor to talk and still use the Aux out cable for the car to hear the caller? Or maybe a comfortable headset with Mic (instead of the white apple earbuds) ? This maybe our purchase now, so any money saving solutions would be a great alternative. Thanks
  13. Hi all. I have recently changed the standard head unit for an after market one. Once it was all in and working, I noticed a problem. When I turn the music up quite loud, it jumps and skips. It does it when listening to the radio, USB, AUX and with cd's. Has anyone else had this problem? thanks, Alex
  14. Hi All, We have been fitting integrated DAB and DAB+ into the latest models of Audi with the MMi3 and 3G entertainment system. If you want dab and it was not fitted as standard then please let us know and I hope we can help. www.justconnectme.co.uk We offer a fitted price of £229 any where in the UK and northern Ireland. The product is controlled via the factory system and shows on the MMi screen just like it was factory.
  15. Hi all, We have developed a DAB/DAB+ kit that works great with the Dension GW500 and 500S. Our kit will work via USB and integrate into USB then transmits on the fibre optic system by the gateway. It will put all the radio text up on the screen, and allow you to control through the MMI system in your vehicle. All you will see is the antenna on the windscreen. Cheers Jono
