  1. Hi all Sorry if there is already a thread for this, I did search but couldn’t find anything. Had my Q5 hybrid for a couple of weeks now and I’m struggling with the range I’m getting from the batteries, especially in EV mode. Fully charged my car over night on Thursday (12.4kw/hr) when I got in the car the range was stated as 30 miles. As I drove off the drive the range dropped to 24 miles even though I had set the driving mode to hybrid. Based on my calculations I’m only going to get about 10 miles from a full charge even though I’m only pootling around town and driving to and from my office (half a mile away). I’m driving purposely carefully to try and protect my range. what experiences do others have? Should I be speaking to Audi? thanks
  2. Audi A4 - 260 BHP - 1.8T - B6 - 2002 I have for sale my beloved 260 BHP Audi A4 B6 1.8T. I have spent thousands on this car and it is a great powerful vehicle. See below on the overview and spec. Overview The car has been upgraded to a very fast 260BHP with a uprated K04-15 Turbo (hybrid), FMIC , Bosh 550 Injectors and de-cat down pipe. The car has been professionally remapped at Unicorn Motor Developments and the rolling road report is attached. Upgrades 260BHP with a uprated K04-15 Turbo (hybrid), Front Mounted InterCooler Bosh 550 Injectors De-cat straight through down pipe. Performance Air Filter Professionally remapped at Unicorn Motor Developments 19" Alloy Wheels Features Front Electric Windows Air Condition Audi Chorus Sound system with 6 CD Changer (one of the speakers are not working) 19" Alloy Wheels Multispoke wheels Condition I have just changed the water pump and the timing belt was also just done at the same time, so this is brand new. The body work is in fair condition for the age of the car. There are some minor dents and scratches of course for the age of the car. The bonnet has a medium dent which can easily be repaired at a dent repair place. The engine was fully rebuilt 26,913 miles ago as the orignal turbo failed hence i decided to fully rebuild with new uprated Turbo and compenents , so this engine only really has 26,913 many miles on it. The overall mileage of the car is 189,913. The thermostat needs to be replaced for the heating. Any inspection / Passenger Test Drive welcome. Only selling as i have bought another car now. This is a great 4 door powerhouse for a cheap price. You will probably not get 260BHP and a lot of fun for this money anywhere. £2795 or nearest offer - Call Now ! 3. Hey I'm new to this site, I have an Audi A4 B8 2009 2.0 143BHP TDI. I have this idea to see how much power I can achieve by just changing the turbo for a hybrid turbo and a remap my figures are 143bhp to 220bhp. I installed a cone yesterday and bypassed the mass air flow sensor due to the fact the filter wouldn't fit, and the car at first was behaving and boosting considerably and driving fine. I made a 35 minute trip back to my city and then stopped for fuel. Once I had fuelled up, it stopped boosting and I had to reconnect the stock air filter and mass air flow sensor. At this point I haven't cleared the fault code that I ended up getting about a few hours later saying TurboCharger/Supercharger "A" Underboost condition. (P0299). The car was boosting again but then seemed to go into limp mode and flashed glow plug lights at me. I switched engine off and back on and then an hour later I saw that code mentioned above ^ and cleared the code. Gave it another boot and the turbo is working again, seems like a bit of turbo lag but its still boosting, but I'm not sure if the lag is due to the fact I had the cone on their previously and could feel the instant power. Since clearing the code it hasn't come back at all, which is a good sign. The other thing I did, was to derestrict the air filter box so that the flap won't open and close, oddly enough fuel consumption doesn't seem too bad with that being done. I also seem to have a leak on the EGR valve and the car munches oil and It means that I may have to keep topping up every few months. So far, I've topped it once since I bought the car in September but I can see it's going down on the car's computer. Not sure if its EGR Valve leak or the actual silicone pipe. I was advised that getting a metal performance pipe would be better for power and that I may aswell replace it if the silicone pipe is leaking oil. I'm very unsure of where to get any of these things though. Some help would be greatly appreciated. For now the car will hopefully become a sleeper and if the car isn't beyond repair and I can achieve the numbers I stated above, I will then turn it into an RS4 with front end conversion B8.. 🙂 I have big plans for this car.
