Hello A few days after I picked up my A7 I noticed that there a bigger panel gap on right hand side of the tailgate than the left (see attached pictures). I brought the car as an approved used Audi from a Audi main dealer. It had an HPI check which was all clear. The panel gap on the rear window and the top of the tailgate is all fine, it is just the right side. The supplying dealer is being supportive and has asked me to get an estimate to sort it out. It's a last resort taking it back up to the supplying dealer as they are 250 miles away from me. Ive taken it to an body shop and they couldn't under stand the gap because the rear window and rest of the tailgate is fine. They checked for signs of previous accident damage but couldn't find anything. Anyone had anything similar? Thanks Mark

Hi All I am trying to use my IPhone 6S as the connection for Auto Connect. I have read various forum posts and other things on Google that there are issues with iPhones because it doesn't support rSAP. But all the posts I have read are quite old and there were a few suggestions that Apple knew about the issue and were going to fix. I have (Bluetooth) paired my phone with the MMI system for the phone and it works fine. But when I go into TEL/Settings/Connections the "Data Connections" option is greyed out. Does anyone have any pearls of wisdom for me? Or do I just need to get another SIM for the car? If I have to get a SIM for the car, can I still use my phone for receiving and making calls or will the car default to the SIM in the SIM reader? What a minefield!! Thanks in advance. Mark

Thanks A7 Fan. Thankfully I am used to big cars. I currently have a BMW 535 GT. The A7 I am buying has a brilliant spec but didn't have the rear camera. The Audi dealer was very good and agreed to pay over half of the cost to install the proper Audi camera and sundries. So that will help with parking and hitching to my caravan which is what I wanted the camera for. Thanks for the info on the cable; much appreciated.

Hello I'm picking up my new (2012) A7 next week. I want to listen to the music on my phone (iPhone 6S) on the long journey home. I've had a look at cables on line and the seems to be cables with the connector for the phone and audio cables and cables without audio cables. Can anyone tell me what cable I need? Thank you. Morning all I am very close to buying a 2012 A7 3.0 TDI (245 PS). I have been residing in the Bavarian camp for many years and currently have a 535 GT. I've always liked the A7 and am now very seriously thinking of putting a deposit down on one at a Audi dealer. Has anyone made a similar move that could share any wisdom?! I've read an earlier post by a guy who asked about thinks to look out for in service history which was useful. But are there any known issues with A7's that I need to be aware of. Also, any information on any recalls would be appreciated. I did want a Black one or Moonlight Blue. I know Black is a nightmare to keep nice, but I am quite fastidious with my cars and keep them nice. The one I am close to putting a deposit on is Daytona Grey. Any thoughts? It's got the spec that I want and more and the price is good. One of the things I do like on the Audi is no run flats (I hate run flats). Any information would be appreciated. Thanks Mark
