  1. Hi has anyone got a set of lowering springs for sale please?
  2. Hi I'm hoping a 30mm drop will look good, I haven't got a pic atm bit ill get one tomorrow and post it up buddy
  3. Hi all, Has anyone here lowered their stock a3 1.9tdi by 30mm? I've just fitted a nice refurbished set of 18" sline alloys, fitted with 205/40/18 tyres And just bought a set of 30mm lowering springs to fit on my car, just so the car sits a little nicer, just wondered if anyone on here had done similar and did the car look and drive ok?
  4. Cheers Steve, yes all good, really don't know what all the fuss is about doing them, it really isn't that bad to do at all
  5. OK Guys, so I decided to have a go at doing my Cambelt and waterpump change myself, Happy to say all went well, really not hard to do at all, I sorted a full Cambelt kit and waterpump from a local Motor factors for £76 (dayco Kit) And £11.28 for 5ltrs of G12+ coolant Total spend less that £90 all in Took me about 5 hours in total from start to finish, but saved myself about £400 so well happy Going to do a sevice tomorrow too, so my cars all spot on👍

  7. Hi all, Has anyone here done their own cambelt change on a 1.9tdi a3? If so was it really as hard as it sounds to do? I'm pretty competent in doing my own servicing etc to my cars and motorbikes, so seriously thinking about buying a full cambelt kit inc waterpump and doing mine myself, I have access to the cam locking tools...
  8. Hi all, does anyone know if audi a6 18" alloys with 245/40/18 tyres will fit my 2006 a3 please? I know the stud pattern is ok, I just wondered if the 245 tyres will cause problems, thanks
  9. Is that the 1st cambelt change the cars had mate?
  10. Hi mate, thank you for your advise it's really appreciated, I will definitely be looking into having it done, regards Guy
  11. Thanks Steve, I'm just wondering if I'll be ok for another 6 months or so, like I say my cars on 96k and the cambelt was done at 47k in 2012 so it's coming up to 50k miles on this belt and 5 years
  12. Hi all, can anyone tell me what the cambelt interval is on a 1.9tdi 2006 a3 please? My car is on 96k now and had a cambelt at 47k, is the cambelt done on mileage or time specific? I'm sure I've read somewhere that on the 1.9tdi it's done on mileage and not on time, I. E so many years or x amount of miles
  13. Hi all, don't suppose anyone is in norfolk that has a x 820 locking wheel nut key do they? I've not got 1 with my car and just need to take the lockers off to remove my wheels for refurb
  14. Thankstreet Trevor, yes love the roads up here, Im also into my motorbikespam and yes that's great fun on some of our twisty back roads.
