  1. So today I attacked the car to find the issue with the heater blowers.......... the temp gauge in the car has been around the mark in between 90,50 , not fluctuating just stays there steady. So I removed the thermostat housing to find the Thermostat solid with what I would think rust and crystalized anti freeze. So new thermostat and the coolant system flushed out fully I was on to a winner. Errrrrr No, all back together anti freeze and water in running it to temp, heaters still freezing cold. Pulled top pipe so far off heater matrix to let any air out, No joy, squeezing all pipes to see if full of coolant and move any air, No Joy, cut a long story short I had to remove the return pipe from the header tank and put air line blower onto the header tank fitting with the tank top on and tight and fir air down the line. Had to do this 3 or 4 times until flow of coolant through the return hose then refit the return hose to header tank the went for a run up the road. What can i say heaters have never been so warm since i`ve had it and i`ve had it nearly 10 years. Temp gauge in car still run`s below 90 but again steady. Thought I would just post this if it helps anyone else out. Regards Mark
