for me, as an engineer its because they are german engineered.. this gives us a reliability of parts, build quality, and attention to detail..
Audi seem to have always been overshadowed by the likes of bmw and mercedes. but to me they are much better :)

Hi Everyone.
Finally after years of different cars i decided to get another Audi. I always did have a soft spot for them :)
We found a 2007 (56 plate) Dolphin Grey 3.0 TDI Quattro convertible S-Line with full service history and 67,000 on the dash.
Already ive added some 18" 7 arm double spoke alloys, got the ecu remapped at CC Tuning, and had the windows darker tinted.
I forgot how reassuring it is to get into a car you can rely on and really enjoy driving it..
Anyway, i chose this club as my owners club and just wanted to say hi to everyone here.

I Drive a 2007 3.0 tdi quattro convertible. S-Line 67,000 miles on it with a tiptronic gearbox.
Great car, great build quality, and surprisingly great on fuel too..
No problems so far except the handle for the roof guard in the boot stopped working - but i can live with that..
My advice is stick with an Audi J you wont go far wrong.
Buy from a reputable source, and maybe get the AA to inspect it before buying.

Hi
Could anyone confirm that my 2007 s-line A4 Quattro convertible is running a timing chain rather than a timing belt..
its the V6 3.0 Tdi engine..
I believe it is on a chain drive, but there are conflicting comments on the internet..
