  1. I too has this issue on a MK1 Q7, replacing the air pump sorted it. Audi wanted £1700 for a pump, found a supplier in Germany for exactly the same part, in fact I think they supply Audi, for €350 delivered in 48 hours. The problem is I can’t remember what the company are called but I am sure some time on Google will help.

  2. Hi, once you get the power sorted you may then find that the DVD drive is factory locked and you won’t be able to eject the old DVD, apparently Audi do this to protect the discs during transit! Audi can unlock it for you (at a cost) but a Carista OBDII tool and premium account might do it. I had one of these Q7’s and loved it but they are prone to the engine and fault lights coming on quite a lot, I highly recommend a Carista OBDII plug (about £20 on Amazon) and a premium account (app from App Store then £35 a year) as this will diagnose all issues and reset all lights once issue sorted. It also allows you to change seatings in the car. I found it invaluable with the older Q7. Very small investment for such a useful tool and works on almost all cars.

  3. You can do the reset without it effecting your settings, I have a Q7 and have done it a few times without issue. However, I also have issues with Google  Maps and the car connecting to My Audi Destinations and it transpires my car has a recall on it for an MMI issue. It’s going in next week which I hope will fix it.
