I have had three A6 All-Roads 3.0 diesel automatics. Current is 67 plate. Love them. Wife has bad back and swears by air suspension even though I have 20" wheels. Loads of grunt if you need but comfortable round town.  Sat Nav is primitive (I have SD version but on-line version not much better) but I just use Google Maps. Only thing I would recommend is to get one with colour coded plastic wheel arches. Just looks a LOT better than ugly black originals.  Colour choice or body is limited to dark or silver. I chose silver. Once out of warranty quite a few VCDS tweaks you can do e.g. peep on locking, fob controlled tailgate close etc.

Thanks Mike. Can you explain (apologies for not understanding) Once out of warranty quite a few VCDS tweaks you can do e.g. peep on locking, fob controlled tailgate close etc. What does VCDS stand for? Peep on locking? (Excuse my ignorance).

The A6 Allroad came with standard adjustable-height Air Suspension, which gives a more comfortable ride - especially if you try to muck it up again with 35 section tyres on 20" alloys. .

The disadvantage is that it is something else to go wrong.

Adjustable suspension was an option on the A4 Allroad.

I am a loyal customer at my local main Audi dealer and found the support for issues with my Audi Approved Used car to be excellent.

Thanks John (beemerboy9), I'm not to far from Enfield (Goffs Oak) so hearing about the good support from local dealership is appreciated. Is that Chingford or another?

I chose the allroad because I tow a caravan a fair bit, and I hate SUV/fake 4-wheel drive boxes....... the all wheel drive on wet grass is a life saver over front wheel drive vehicles, and the self levelling suspension makes towing at any time a dream ... add in the power and simplicity of control and it is probably the best towcar I have ever owned .. and I've had a few in the last 45 years !!

That's great feedback Entwood, thanks for taking the time.

  4. I wish I knew a fraction of what some of you guys and gals know, so just looking for opinions and comments please. Very happy with the A3, always wanted an A4 but now really think I will save my pennies for an A4/A6 Avant. What are your views on the pros and cons of the Allroad as opposed standard Avants?

I am not selling this car with a sad heart I am selling it so someone can enjoy the fruits of my labour. Reason for the sale is I am emigrating and it would be too much of an added expense to take the car and by the way this is a genuine reason.

    Hi,

I'm reluctantly selling my gorgeous 2016 A8 Long Wheel Base 3.0TDI SE Executive Tiptronic quattro. Mileage is 35,000

I've had this car for 3 and a half years, and it's time for a change - the only real reason for sale is that I change my cars after 4 years, and that time is approaching. I'm almost certainly replacing it with a new A8.

The car is in mint condition - not a scratch, door ding or curbed alloy in sight. Recently detailed and ceramic paint protection applied.

Car has full Audi service history.

It has a massive spec with many optional extras including including digital TV reception, extended leather pack, rear vanity pack, heated windscreen, acoustic double glazing, air suspension, interior lighting pack (you can adjust the colours of the ambient lighting too), matrix LED headlamps with auto dimming technology linked to the satelite navigation system to help see round bends, sunroof, park assist with rear camera, Bose surround sound system, rear seat pack (fully reclining, heated and adjustable rear seats with memory) and 22 way adjustable heated front seats. The brand new price of this car was over £86K!

Tyres are all in excellent condtion with all in excess of 4mm tread. Rears in excess of 6mm.

This is a superb, high performance, luxury car. Can deliver within 300 miles from West Somerset. Number plate has been obsured for privacy and security - if you need to know the registration number for insurance or HPI checks, please call. Silver, 2 owners,

    £21,750 ONOimageproxy.php?img=&key=5c3fc8f17ce3dc25

Will deliver within 300 miles of Taunton. This is an immaculate example of a Long Wheel Base Audi A8. Low mileage and many optional extras

    Vehicle registered: 14/01/2016

Hi Audi fans! Is anyone interested in acquiring the above Audi GT 1.9 Coupe 1981 B2? My friend is a Senior Citizen and has asked me to make enquiries as to how to sell it. I am also retired and my own passion is with classic cars, but I have had had little to do with this marque. The car has not been used for years and can be considered a restoration project, although far from a basket-case, I believe. If anyone is interested please let me know and we can discuss how to move forward considering condition and the finer details, like miles, value, etc, etc. I act as a 'helper' to my friend, and at no expense to anyone, just a pleasure to hopefully keep a classic from the graveyard. Many thanks!

Hi, a bit late to the party with this post but if your friend is still looking for a home for his GT Coupe,  Any additional info would be appreciated (eg. mileage, any damage etc). Best wishes.
