Build quality, the look and feel. I`m on to my second A3 now and I love it.. Had a mk 5 golf gt tdi and found them very similar. I believe they are the same underneath but prefer my Audi... :-)

I've heard that warming glued-on badges with a hair dryer softens the glue enough for you to gently ease the badge off.

 

Don't know if the Audi "four rings" are stuck on, though.
