@Marko C94 what does your mechanic think about this? Do you have any plans to change it?

My car has 120k now and it drives the same I dont believe it has got any worse. Im not sure if it ever has had a new flywheel or clutch before, but at £1000 for a new kit including fitting its an expensive gamble if it doesnt sort it!

@Marko C94 i never got this sorted on mine, anyone i left it with or got to check gave me too many opinions on what it would be. if you ever find out or solve it please let me know....

I got a look at the car on my friends lift but could not see any evidence on oil coming out of these mounts specifically, looked dry and no really bad cracks on them.

He seemed to think it felt more like a hesitation within the engine, but not sure. I might get a VAG specialist to investigate further.

Cheers for the welcome! A couple of people I have asked have said the same, so I might get them replaced to be sure. My mechanic said he thought if it was either you would see the engine moving around at idle but a guess a 2nd opinion wouldn't hurt.

Also see an insert that can go on the gearbox mount which might also be worth a shout.

Hi, I have came across this forum a before but have been a bit of lurker! I thought it was time to sign up and try shed some light on an annoying niggle with my 2013 a4 2.0 tdi with a shake it has on acceleration. See thread below:

Hi, on my 2013 audi a4 2.0 tdi with 110k miles it shakes when accelerating on throttle, for example 60mph in 6th gear and put your foot in gradually the shake goes though the car and can see the gear stick shaking. The shake seems to be able to be controlled with the throttle, doesn't seem to come through the steering wheel

I have had it checked over by a reputable mechanic and he could not see anything wrong in terms of cv joints etc. He also done some road tests measuring fuel and boost pressure but all appeared normal. One thing he did say was the clutch appeared to be that of what you would expect with the miles but said there was no apparent flywheel or release bearing noise.

I know the chances of diagnosing this over a forum are very slim but just interested to see if this has happened anyone else before under the same circumstances?
