    Hi Pronto,

When I refitted the spare wheel components for my A3 I found that things like the jack / centre wheel bolt for spare tyre are interchangeable between the models. I was lucky enough to purchase jack/ full tool kit and centre bolt from eBay from one seller, then the actual space saver tyre from another.

Picture below is how my A3 spare tyre in the boot looks.

looks good that.. neat and tidy...

better then a temporary repair kit

Hi, I don't log in or have an account. Try clicking the Car Prog2 link in the left hand panel.

Sometimes the program does prompt  me to sign in, I just make it reload and try again. I have looked on the site to register but cannot find the link.

When you do get this working look at section 0, page 011-100. I think this will list out the items you require.

Let me know if you cannot gain access, I will do a copy and paste for you.

    Ah got it now..

    click on your link,

click on welcome tab(centre of screen),

click on free services tab(second tab top left)

    click on prog2 tab(top left)

Hi, I use an on line service https://ifinterface.com/prcog/car/cp2/inprog.php. click on safe zone then carprog2. Adjust search patten for Audi /model/year.

I have already added a space saver to mine as well as jack/handle/toolkit.

You can also check out the prices of these items within the ifinterface program, I have found that you need to multiple the advertised price by x1.5. To account for euro to pound and vat etc.

    Hope this helps.

thanks for the information that's great...

I've took a few photos of the underside of my 2021 A3 and it looks like  the only panels fitted on mine are No1x2 and No4x1 in the diagram... no other panels are fitted..

    Hi

I own a 2021 A3 Edition 1 saloon and I am quite pleased with the car and all of its features.

Looking underneath the car the other day I noticed that one of the protection panels are missing and it looks like it was never fitted. Speaking with the local Audi dealer they were not too sure if this should of been fitted or not. They confirmed that in their parts list this had been "Greyed" out which suggest not fitted on UK cars (8Y5 825 217A).

Could another A3 8Y owner have a look and confirm if it has been fitted or not to their vehicle.

I enclose a photo of the underneath of my car (Viewed from the rear quarter LHS)  showing the missing panel along with a picture from the web showing all panels fitted on LHD models also ETKA image and codes.

Many Thanks in advance for your help.

sorry I can't answer your question, but could you tell me where you get your detailed information on the Audi parts and schematics please

I'm after the correct parts for fitting a spare wheel in boot.. foam inserts, the wheel the bolt clamp, the Jack, and the tyre...

I will look at my underside rear tomorrow to see if I have that panel fitted to My A3 8y Vorsprung hatchback.

  5. Just changed both keys fob batteries for my A3 8y not sure when the last person changed them. NOT VERY easy to flip the back off the fob, especially with the key inserted like it shows in the owner's manual, i ended up using a flat headed screwdriver, can't see the little tab lasting that many battery changes.

As far as i can gather, owners with the advanced key are more likely to change the fob batteries more often because the fob is always in contact (transmitting) to the car.

it also helps if you use established well-known brand batteries to lessen change frequency...

Strange though i had an Audi TTs with Advanced key and never changed the fob batteries in three years... but the A3 8y is more technically advanced today so the battery fob change is the rub off????
