You asked if the battery was coded. I answered 

It's a 2010 a4 b8. There was nothing on the snap on diagnostic tester for battery coding or battery reset. Charged the car up this morning and so far still OK. Think the new battery will be ok just have a really bad drain 

Going to do a battery drain test on it when back at work Monday. Think it's a exide

Snap on tester did have a option for reset battery so not done. Not sure on make of battery but it's not a cheap one that went on. And it seam battery went dead in 8 to 10 hrs from last drive. 

Voltage at the DL16 plug is 12v and it's 14v at the alternator. Has had a new battery on it for a few week. But had now drained again 

Car was dead a few week back put new battery on fine sins. But now playing up again. Scan tool says alternator is charging at 12volts but multimeter at the jump point says 14volts. Anybody had this issue befor

Will have a look into it. I still want it to look standard with the original switches 

Am thinking of putting in heated seats to my sline. Just wondering has anyone do it and made it look OE with the original heated seat switch pack

Does anyone know if  rs5 brakes will fit a4 b8 with standard 19" le mans alloy 

Shock absorber have been on since it was new 2010 but have only done 59k. All tyres matching uniroyals not far off new. And I run about 32 psi all round

It sounds suspiciously like there is some wear at critical points.

Hi I have had it on the ramp at work and the is nothing wrong with any of the suspension components have had all the tracking set up properly as was out abit just don't feel planned to the road like my Leon did. I asked one of the lads at work and he says his a4 is the same. 

I just find the audi is a poor handling car. Great at 30 around town. But when you want to give it abit of stick around corners 🤔 I have no trust in it

Has anyone fitted strut brace to their cars and if so do they make a difference?

Think porsche calipers will fit they are 6 pot I've looked at them for my A4 is your a b7 or b8

I had a problem with mmi it went blank. So sent it off to be fixed cost £250 

Thanks took ages to find the right one in red. Wanted a black edition but went for the special edition in the end. Think the chrome trim was better looked on red 😆 

Has anyone got 30/45 h&r lowering springs on there A4 B8. Don't really want it much lower than standard. If anyone as any suggestion of pictures of what they have on there a4 would be great

Most likely the supercharger/water pump. Think they are electric powered steering pumps on the a1

Cheers i like the honeycomb grill but still want the front to look standard ish 😆 

Looking at putting a honeycomb grill on my a4 but all the one I've looked at have the black surround and i want the chrome surround. So I was wondering if I can swap the standard one on to the aftermarket honeycomb

Its the first fault I've had with it since owning it. Work on them all daylong there not to badto fix lol

Ye hope it is been out in it last night and today seams ok fingers crossed it stays that way 😆. Hopefully next weekend I can get my carplay fixed 

had it done at ecu testing that said they couldn't find a fault with the culture but couldn't rule out it being intermittent so I just said rebuild it with all new parts price was £230 all in
