    Can anyone please advise me what may be causing my EPC light to stay on and also triggering the following codes: P034300 Camshaft position circ. high input, P201400 Intake manifold runner position sensor/switch circuit,P201600 Intake manifold position sensor switch low.

     

    I pulled off the intake manifold but could not find any overt problems except some missing insulation on the black wire connected to the knock sensor connector. I replaced the fuel injector o rings, cam position sensor, Intake manifold runner position sensor and new NGK spark plugs. Still no good.

     

    Background: In Dec 22 because of EVAP issues I replaced the intake manifold (OEM), purge valve, breather/oil separator, rebuilt fuel injectors, air charge temp sensor, ignition coils, NGK spark plugs and did a manual carbon removal. After that, the car ran great until now.

     

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am pretty much at an impasse. Thanks TC

  3. I have a 2012 A4 B8.  I had a loose intake manifold bolt that would not tighten. I removed the intake manifold and installed the heli coil. Now the car will not start. Just turns over and a gas smell. The car ran great before I removed the manifold. I don’t think I forgot any connectors. Any suggestions? If somehow there is a connector problem, can someone identify which one to check that may cause this issue. Thanks TC

  4. I have a 2012 Audi A4 B8 Gas.  I have an P045500 EVAP Emission Contr.Sys.(Gross Leak), code that I can’t get rid of. Overall the car runs good.
    I changed the following: Purge valve, air/oil separator, Intake Manifold, complete manual valve carbon removal, Gas cap,Rebuilt fuel Injectors and timing chain cover gasket. About 3 months prior to that replaced ignition coils and spark plugs. Does anyone have any suggestions?  Thanks
