  1. Hi all. I’m loving driving my c6 3.0 TDI Quattro. The leather inside is two tone and needs a few touch ups.

The colour on the sticker is N5D/QL.

could anyone help me decipher this please so I don’t make a shambles of the paint match? 🤣

  2. Another quick update folks. I was in the engine bay doing some servicing last night when I noticed the plenum drain completely blocked and a pool of water sat there stagnant. After I cleared that and cleared the drain, I thought some of the water may have seeped through the firewall to the components.
when I removed the MMI / CD player in the glove box, the 10amp fuse in the back of the unit looked rusted. So I replaced it and plugged it back in and SUCCESS!!!! Everything powered back on!! So I’ve basically left a heater in there today to try and dry parts out. While it wasn’t saturated, it was a little damp.

    hopefully this helps someone!

  3. Good afternoon all! I’m wondering can i ask your advice. I bought an a6 c6 3.0 TDI Quattro for a bargain. The only fly in the ointment is that the radio, screen and button are all completely dead. I’ve checked some fuses (but not entirely sure which ones to check - I’ve checked a 30a fuse in the boot and replaced just in case it was bad.)

when I took out the left hand boot liner I saw this

which I see is the amp and the other parts I’m not sure.
When I disassembled this, I was greeted with this

so I’m wondering if anyone can advise on what else I should check. And also if these other random boxes are actually needed.
I also got a vcds scan done which I’ll attach too!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

They’re no fault codes (I have my own OBD thing), no damp carpets or wheel well. But yes, could be worth a new battery. Can be slow to turn over.

Did you ever get to the bottom of this one? I’ve got similar issues (albeit the MMI is completely dead) and I wondered if you found it to be battery related?
