I had an issue in January a couple of weeks after taking delivery of the same model - warning lights and limp home mode advised during a short journey. Similar story - dealer couldn't book me in for three weeks, but advised calling Audi Roadside Assistance. I did this, and a couple of hours later the technician arrived, ran diagnostics and discovered a software issue that was fixed with an update. Might be worth a call to Assistance to see if they can come out and at least diagnose the problem.

Hi Joe
This might be more helpful:
Step-by-Step Replacement
Lift the Wiper Arm: Carefully pull the rear wiper arm away from the rear windshield until it is held upright by its spring tension. (Optional: Place a folded towel under the arm to protect the glass from accidental scratches.)
Remove the Old Blade: Rotate the wiper blade so it is perpendicular to the wiper arm. Press the locking tab (often located on the underside of the clip) or firmly slide/wiggle the blade downward toward the arm hinge to release it. Carefully pull it off the arm.
Attach the New Blade: Align the new blade’s mounting point with the pin or hook on the wiper arm. Push it firmly until you hear an audible "click" locking it into position.
Final Check: Gently lower the wiper arm back onto the rear window. Never let the metal arm snap back freely against the glass. Run a quick water test or use the washer fluid to ensure it clears smoothly.
There are some videos on YouTube which might also help.

Correct inaccuracies.- Older Guidelines: 40,000 - 60,000 miles or 5 years.
-
Newer Models/Engines (e.g., 1.5 TSI): Can be significantly higher mileage (e.g., 100k+) but still with a time limit (e.g., 5 years). When in doubt, a proactive change (e.g., at 60k miles/5 years) offers peace of mind against potential engine failure, which is very costly.
PLEASE NOTE:- -
The quotations in this post are challenged on accuracy under my post of 18 January.

No, it remembers the previous setting. One option might be to reset the Virtual Cockpit. I Googled and found this:
- Locate the power button: Find the power button on your MMI control unit.
- Press and hold: Press and hold the power button until the screen goes black and reboots.
-
In the left hand circular virtual cockpit display I have the fuel gauge readout. In the centre display I usually select the Short-term or Long-term consumption data. If the display is switching randomly to date and time, I wonder if it could be an issue with the steering wheel left hand rotary switch?

Hello - I’m brand new to the forum. Picked up a new A3 S-Line this week to replace my old Q3. Suggestion for getting the 1st service done by the dealer and then later ones by an independent sounds sensible - I was going to go independent all the way but I’ll follow advice. Regarding Audi paint codes, this site might help to confirm OP’s paint via reg. number.

I’d probably get the matter resolved first and then insist on a meeting with the dealer principal.
