WOM Automotive is most definitely the go-to place for anything A2.
I sold mine earlier this year after 20 years, on 308,500 miles, to a fellow A2 enthusiast, as I needed an automatic. Hopefully he'll take it on for some years yet.
I expect you already know the main A2 forum on www.a2oc.net lots of good info there.

Harry, have a look on the specialist A2 forum - a2oc.net - free to join but there's a £2 charge to access the 'for sale' listings. There are often some spares available but could message A2Steve there as he's always been helpful in the past.

Agreed, the A2 was well underrated - ours did us well. They didn't sell well - too expensive - now they're really specialist cars and not many Audi garages have experience in them.
There were 2 things on the recall, one was a software update which the dealer suggested not really necessary to take up; the other was a precautionary airbag issue.
I've searched here about the aircon issue - looks like others have had the same problem, so I now know what to look for.

Hello -
After nearly 20 years of Audi A2 ownership (a few years break in the middle when we were in New Zealand) we now have an A4 Avant 3.0TDi quattro - rather more brisk than the A2 .... But the A2 had a few issues, unsurprising perhaps as it had done 308,500 miles, so it's gone to a fellow A2 owner who's more hands-on than me. It did us well but we wanted an automatic.
A couple of issues with the A4. One is the aircon which has the 'Econ' button permanently on - the compressor has failed perhaps? And there's an outstanding dealer recall for it. But other than that, really enjoyable - and, door to door fuel consumption from Sussex to Cumbria was 48.0mpg, rather better than I had feared.
We'll see how it goes.
Regards, Trevor
