  1. Well the time has come for me to sell 'Old Skool' which is a 1996 Audi Coupe 2.0 8V with only 75,700 miles on the clock, a full years MOT issued on 24/10/2018 and just TWO owners!

Its been my daily driver for the past three years and 35,000 miles having never missed a beat.

Great interior, still showing the supplying dealers sticker in the rear window and number plate surround for the front of the vehicle showing the same, original Sony cassette player with 6 speakers, no holes cut in door panels or parcel shelf!

Its a really reluctant sale as Ive loved owing this Coupe, my second one, but I've been distracted by a TT 3.2 Roadster!

Anyone interested or wanting more information/photos please get in touch through the forum!

Make me an offer, I want it to go to the right new owner!

  2. The many joys of running an older car!!

The oil pressure gauge on mine has always sat at 5 bar as soon as its started...will check the sender unit!

I do a 50 mile commute in mine daily and the temp gauge never ventures beyond 70 ...this was always the same in the other Audi 80's/Coupe I have owned!

Enjoy the noise of that 2.3!!!

  3. Hi!

New to the site and been having a look around. I have owned my latest Coupe for a year now after a few years away from VAG cars (an 80 saloon,80 Avant, a coupe and a Mk4 Golf V5 estate).

I am only the second owner of my 1996 2.0 Coupe and having used it as my daily driver for the past 10 months it has just passed the 50,000 mile mark!

  4. It was originally bought with the intention of using it as a second car but the family wagon needed replacing and couldn't justify two new cars and my 'toy' so I am now using it daily for my 45 mile commute...and enjoying every mile despite the sacrifices you make to drive a slightly older car (no cup holders for starters!)

  5. I agree...the decision to keep or sell a car is rarely financial.  I sold my previous older Audi and regretted it for the two years I was without something out of the ordinary and finally gave in and searched for another...
