If you're looking at diesel then to my knowledge this was only available with a 170bhp 2.0 litre unit. With quattro make sure all tyres are the same brand and tyre wear is even as uneven wear can damage the quattro system.

Thanks. Same engine on all makes? Audi didn't put much effort in it then)

Is it reliable tho? Any issues? Thanks in advance

  2. Hi all. Thinking of buying TT diesel with about 50k miles. Of course quattro.Looking for the best and most reliable option in therms of engines. Any other things on those models one need to be aware of? Of course quattro. Many thanks for your tips in advance. BR

My car need some service like a cambelt change etc.  Dont want to give ot into the hands of any not bothered servise butchers who just want to make a quick buck and dont care about your car really. Looking for a really nice trustworthy garage who i can trust with all my issues for not a rip off price. Do you guys know any of the such a garage in Farnborough area, near London?7

    Your help is much appreciated)

Also my front off side bearing is due to replace, i have been quated anything from 170 up to 400£ for the job. which is the real price you think?

Many thanks for all your input.

  4. Hi Guys.

Looking for the best tyres for my a4 saloon, 2 front ones.

    Please spill the beans here.

Which one would you recommend? Important criteria: fuel efficiency, low noise and obviously i want them to last long

Dont want to go in too much expence. Was looking at:

    -  Pirelli Cinturato All Season
    - NOKIAN FUEL EFFICIENT-C WET GRIP-C
    - Kumho Ecsta SPT KU31 ( I know not all seasons they are)
     - PIRELLI P ZERO NERO

Last, but not least think i will go for all season ones - could i mix all seanons at front with summer at rear? any good ?

    thanks a lot))

How's things and hello to you, welcome to the club

First thing I'd check is the switch behind the brake pedal, make sure it's not stuck on, if it is its fairley cheap and easy to fix

I cannot check the switch as couldn't find. Could you please advice if possible on where is it located ?

    Thank you kindly

  6. Greeting to all.

    Hope you all well.

I have recently developed strange issue with a rear light , as per picture.

Just noticed today that 2 sectors on the rear read light , right side are constantly on, despite the fact that brakes arent engaged.

    What could that be?

Ddn't do anything to the car, apart of puting  it through the hand wash today and polishing/waxing later.

Thanks a ton for your input in advance.
