I've bitten the bullet guys and paid 240 today, worth it really, I had it back in the afternoon and I never had to role around on the pavement. Quiet as a mouse again.

That's cheap, your not in Manchester are you?

Too true, there like a tag team.

Hi guys,
I've got what I think is a whining front wheel bearing on my A6 C7, before I have a go at replacing it, is there any hidden problems I need to know about?
Thanks in advance.

Looking like a diy fix then.

I wish it would Gareth. Unfortunately, it's too low down once raised. Our A4 B8 used to do that.

Hi Gareth,
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, no such set up on my 2015 plate. A flush handle lifts up to raise, but then has no way of securing it in the up position while you access the spare wheel.
Thanks again mate.

Hi Guys,
Whenever I want to get to my spare wheel in my A6 C7 Avant, I have to hold up the boot liner with my head, which then puts strain on my back getting the wheel out. Does anyone have a way of holding it up for this?
-
Cheers Tony, too true.

How much was it mate?

Hi guys,
I need to get to my A6 C7 2015 fuel tank sender unit which I believe is playing up. Does anyone know how to remove the back seat to access it please?
Thanks in advance.

Hi steve,
Thanks for your reply, I have a space saver spare wheel underneath this cover, along with jack, tool kit etc...

This has probably been asked a thousand times, and if it has, I apologies.
Is there something missing from my 2015 a6 avant spare wheel cover?
It appears to be shaped to hold something, but I don't know what?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Error free aswell, always a bonus, I might give them a go myself. Let us know how you get on with them.

Hi guys,
just a thought, would it be possible to fit a DAB concert radio into my 2008 A4, to replace the existing concert?
I know it would need programming to the car, but what else would I need?, aerial etc...
has anybody done this to their car?
thanks in advance.
-
I've only got the basic concert radio, so no hidden menu. Thanks for the suggestion though.
if I remove the radio to fit the plug and play fiscon, do I need a code when I put it back in?

Hello again,
Does anyone know how I go about sourcing an emergency key for my 2008 A4?
its got 2 keys, and the holder in the glove box, but no key to go in it.
thank you.
-
I think I'm going to have an aftermarket fiscon fitted, supposed to be identical to original Audi, just plug and play.

Hi mick,
ive just had my renewal through from Tesco, at £650, for my 2008 A4 2.0TDI SE, I rang Adrian flux, got my discount from this forum, and another for being a member of the institute of advanced motorists, and they came in at £1050.
you decide.

I'm beginning to think it hasn't, as I'm getting nothing. How would I know if it hasn't?
Greetings! Few questions about my new (old) car!

Hi Duncan,
I had the same issue with my tail light. I removed it and the original adhesive had failed. I carefully separated the outer casing, dried it all out, then re sealed it using epoxy resin. It’s been perfect ever since.
