Hi guys does anyone/ has anyone used one of these and are they safe?

Hi mate,
if you don’t have the mmi in your clovebox look for a USB port maybe in your armrest this will connect you iPhone and play all your music.

No problem thank you all for your help 👍

I don't even think those discs are 18 months old tbh. Though one winter up here and the discs on my A6 look worse than those. Score lines like that are relatively normal. More important is a lack of discolouration sowing over heating discs. Plus if no feedback through pedal then discs should be good.
Copper slip can loose its softness quite quickly unlike silicon grease. However, in my experience any grease based product collects dust etc and this is deemed bad. I still use copper slip because it always works for me on vehicles doing 50k a year or just 1000 miles. But, I service my brakes at least once a year. Cleaning off old lube and reapplying the smallest amount each time. Best practice outways products used in my opinion.
Hi guys
brake pads and discs are fine were changed a while a go. Garage cleaned and re greased and no noise anymore. Sorry took so long to reply been very busy at work
kind regards

Hi mate,
is it just noise? Any feedback through the brake pedal also?
is the noise a squeal or a rubbing grinding noise?
Hi
no through the pedal that feels fine but it's a squeal sound louder from passenger side. And it makes this whenever I brake no matter if if hot or cold fast or slow.

Hi Andrew
When did you have your pads/discs changed?
Have you tried to feel for any pitting or lip or scoring on the disc it self? (when cooled down)
Kind regards
Bradley
Hi Bradley
they was changed at the start of the year and they look and feel fine maybe they just want cleaning then. Just I read on some forum that lots of people are having the same problem
kind regards

Hi Buck
welcome to the clan; good fun in an Audi isn't it?
I had the same problem. my ipod is little old 4Gb. would not connect so now I plug it in via the aux in by the handbrake. locate it with the cd button.
works perfectly. Only downside is it had to be charged first or connected to a usb for power.
that's my experience anyway, someone may be along with a better option.
Hi joe/ Steve thanks for the advice, and yes it's a brilliant car to drive love it.
And ive had a look and I can't find a aux or USB. I have mmi in the clove box and 12v plug in in the arm rest.

Hi guys, I'm new to forum and to audi. I'm having a problem connecting my iPhone to the CarPlay. Bluetooth is fine but can't set it up as a iPod to play music. Anyone have any ideas?
