The heat is savage, it's topped at 32 where I'm working. Wearing full PPE doesn't help 😂

That is very true. Plus the UK aren't as interested in
WMDOil 😁- 1

It's rather sad and dare I say it, pathetic, that the UK military isn't treated with the same awe and respect that the US military seems to be. The people of the UK, owe anyone both past and present that have served in the military, a great deal of thanks for what they do.

Nice one, I'll have to find one with Black Panther, he's obsessed with him 😂

I just found my PS2 in my garage, just need to find a controller for it. Fancy a game of NFSU2😁

He is the bloke that made WD for me. Brewer just made it cheesy

That looks awesome. Where did you get that? My 4 year old is obsessed with marvel atm. We're slowly getting through the films 😂

Hello everyone.
As the title really. I'm getting an intermittent P0401 fault. I notice it happens after a DPF regen (fan stays on, burning smell)
Is it worth removing the EGR valve and cleaning it, if so. What location is it?
My car's a B8.5 140bhp 2.0
Cheers,
Seán

Same here. With the amount of mileage ive done since September it's going to need a service so I'll tie it in with that if I can.

Thanks Sean - yes if i was buying second hand it would be the way to go - but I am not sure the lease company would allow it - and there are some horror stories when taking a wrap off - not sure gap insurance would cover ;)
Speak to them and try the, its to protect the paint lol. I've heard some nasty stories too.
-
If it's just the colour option that is holding you back, have you thought about having a full vinyl wrap? You can get the desired colour and protect the paintwork at the same time.
Just a thought

Westons is one of my favourite ciders. I find it doesn't taste as strong as it is. Which can be lethal Now old rosie, when having a few of those, I feel fine until I get up to leave to find that my legs have stopped working

I Know what you mean about being Self Employed. I was on my way to Gloucester to look at a site. Made it as far as junction 38 of the M4, turned around and went home. Luckily I had paperwork to do so I could at least book a few hours. Nothing tomorrow though

We've had snow on and off down here. In all fairness, the councils in South Wales have been on the ball with the gritters. I did have to get up an untreated lane to get to site yesterday morning. Only about two inches of snow on it, Audi breezed through it. Thought it would struggle with summer tyres and front wheel drive

Agreed, that's partly the reason why I'm keeping mine. To be fair it has various Ford accessories fitted. Mainly because it was a dealer gimick which was also an RS accessory specialist. The dealer specified it in black which is unusual for an LX model apparently. The dealer was also featured in the accessories tv ad from the early 90s. Which explains why my escort has:
RS accessory front fog lights
RS accessory front splitter, side skirts and spats
RS accessory alloy wheels
RS accessory front strutbrace
RS accessory mudflaps
RS accessory gearknob
RS accessory duel tone horns
RS accessory front wind deflectors
Ford fitted immobiliser
It's a long list but it looks great! Looks quite retro now!
All that's missing now is the engine and running gear from an RS 👀

I use chrome on my phone, personal laptop and work laptop.

It's rare to find an older Ford that isn't an XR/RS that's in a good condition. A shame really.

Slightly newer than mine, but same engine :)
It was my first car. My original plan once my insurance had dropped enough was to drop a Mondeo engine/box in it and up rate the brakes and suspension to suit. But by the time that had come around, the sills were too far gone

It was a 1997 P Mk6 1.6 Zetec. There wasn't much I didn't fix myself on it tbh. Nothing some patience and a haynes manual couldn't handle

I forgot about that problem. The one I meant is, when starting a match, sometimes most of one team won't spawn in for anything between 30-60 secs. Not good when your one of them playing domination, you can be 3-0 down before you get in.

I've had the joy of a head gasket going whilst under load going up a hill in my old Ford Escort. Couldn't see anything but smoke in my mirrors, repaired it myself though

Cod WW2 is the first one I've played since ghosts. It seems like it was rushed to me. The campaign was pretty good. Nothing on older games in the series though. MP has been a joke. The spawning issue, lag and games just quitting. I played it a couple of days ago and the lag did seem to be gone. Lag compensation on the other hand, that's terrible.

Mine is in a right state. I need to clean it soon. Like Steve, I was doing 2-2.5k a month. Thankfully I've changed areas and now I should be doing less than 500 a month so now's the time
Intercooler replacement.

Howdy folks,
I have a 2013 b8.5. the intercooler has taken a hit from a wayway rock on the road while driving.
How easy are they to replace?
Has anyone changed one before?
Anything to look out for?
Cheers,
Seán
