Nice one Gareth.
It's certainly an avenue worth exploring!!
And at least if my music is on a stick it means my daughters can't high jack the Bluetooth stream and play their sh**te!!

Hey all,
Got the CD multi changer in the glove box, got the sat nav (with the dvd reader in the boot) and I'm able to make and receive calls via bluetooth. Happy days!!
However, I'm unable to stream music from my phone via bluetooth.
Why not plug a streaming adapter into your aux port I hear say...........
Would love to, but I ain't got one .......... Nothing in the centre console and nothing in the glove box.
Apart from retro fitting an AMI unit, what options do I have??
Thanks in advance etc

Nice one Gareth, thanks for the reply.
Have had dealings before with Tayna in the past and have found their prices and service spot on.
Probably going to go down the route of replacing the battery (mechanic mate of mine check the alternator output and all good there) if I'm being honest with a Varta or a Bosch.
As far as respecting the wallet? Used to own Land Rovers, that respect disappeared years ago
All the best,

First of all, Seasons Greetings everyone!!!
Loving being a 2008 2.0 TDI owner, should have done got one years ago.
Starting to notice that starting on these blimmin cold mornings is a tad laboured and the subsequent running around with heaters, lights etc is probably not helping to maintain the battery in tip top condition. No idea how old the battery is so do I remove and give it a boost with a home charge or just go for a brand new one with my recently acquired Christmas money?
Either way the battery has got be removed, anything I need to be aware of - radio codes etc?
If I do go down the route of buying something useful like a battery,(instead of spending my Christmas money on dancing girls and vodka) any recommendations on brand, type supplier etc
Thanks in advance,
chiz

Had loads of fun in the Defender but as the family grew it became a bit impracticable hauling the kids around safely. It was still camo'd, had the 'chalk' panels on the door, convoy lights, escape hatch in the roof, snorkel, insulated and all topped off with a 2.5 n/a diesel engine and no power steering. 50 flat out on the road and yet never got it stuck when I took it off road. Sold it to chap from Lodz in Poland who eventually grafted a 4.0 Beemer engine into it.

What landrover did you have?
Cheers
Steve
Hey Steve,
Thanks for the welcome.
Last one was a D2 TD5, before that was a Range Rover Classic Soft Dash 300Tdi manual and before that an ex RM winterised/waterproofed Defender 110 and numerous Series 3's,2a's.
Taking a break from the Green Oval for a while. That said, I'm keeping half an eye open for a Lightweight as a future project

Hello there, just bought an A6 Tdi SE on a 2008 plate.
Finally saw the light after 19 years of being a Land Rover owner..............
Happy to be here

Looking to buy an A6 (C6) - What to Look Out For?

Check the air conditioning/climate control does what it is supposed to do and the central locking (my passenger door wouldn't unlock via the fob on 2 clicks and would only open from the inside when I collected car so dealer had to sort).
Really hope the car you are looking at ticks all the boxes!
